Launcher request, how to trigger search on entering the app drawer in Trebuchet

I would like for app search to start right as I enter the app drawer and I want the app to start as enough chars are typed to match the app without additional clicks. I’m aware of 0launcher, kiss, and others launchers doing this (I believe I tried all launchers vailable on f-droid) but I want to stay with trebuchet style drawer. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

**DETAILS** Launcher: NeoLauncher (fdroid) Wallpaper: Doodle live wallpaper app (fdroid) Icons: Arcticons Icon Pack (fdroid) If you're like me and prefer a simple home screen but still use quite a few apps regularly, Neolauncher has a nice feature called cover mode where you can choose a single icon to represent a folder of icons. I don't like the chaotic feel of the standard folder with several miniaturized apps smooshed together.

Synth vibes

My semi minimalist background. The sidebar expands to actually show quite a few apps, I use a bunch of apps on a daily basis so I couldn't really settle with just five or six that most means have, so when it's expanded out I can see quite a bit of information it's a lot faster than looking through my app drawer which hasn't even more apps but aren't ones that I use on a daily basis. Similar to my previous post but changed up the background and have been updating a few of the apps recently.

Olauncher with a daily new wallpaper

I've been using this launcher for a few weeks now and it has really reduced my screen time on my phone. I rarely play games anymore and social media got less as well. The complete absence of app icons (also in the app drawer) combined with the ability to rename apps make this the most distraction free launcher I have ever used. Bonus feature: To start an app you just open the app drawer (by swiping up) and type the name of the application. The app will start automatically if it's the only remaining search result. The names in the screenshot are just generic German descriptions of the app, like "Map", "Pictures", "Music", " Files" and so on. This helps to keep my focus on the function of the app.
