I'm getting ready to run Icewind Dale, and noticed some of the maps have this marking in them, but none of them call attention to it or explain it. Does it indicate height, or something weird like "this ramp is a right triangle with a hypotenuse of 30 feet" or "30 feet extra ramp here we didn't have space for, stretch it out when you run it"?

The idea for the slow motion explosion came from the movie The Hobbit... I think it was The Battle of the Five Armies where Legolas was stepping on falling rocks faster than they could fall to get himself up a falling tower. It's an unrealistic and ridiculous scene, and also one of my favorites haha. So I figured something so over the top and so unrealistic could be really fun to play in a TTRPG. Just imagine it - as a deadly explosion is taking place, time has slowed down as the players suddenly find themselves being able to move incredibly fast. The bad guys are still beating them up (or maybe the bad guys are getting incinerated as they fall through the cracks?) as the players are jumping from one moving rock to another to get themselves to safety. Hi everyone! This is the last bit that I released that makes a large 50x70 map with 4 separate connected map releases. This last one I think finally answers where all those lights are coming from - the shrine at the bottom left of the large map! Since it is a colorful and nature-y map, I themed it as fey, but it can be any kind of forest / plains / river / wilderness map as well, doesn't have to be fey. The road ahead winds past small cliffs nearby. This area is known to be dangerous, it's all too easy to hide in places like this, and brigands take advantage.
This isolated, walled homestead looks closed for the winter. Snow is piled high on the roof. You wonder if anything of value was left behind.
This isn’t a battlemap, but this detail of the real life Idaho-Maine gold mine (in California) may be of use for various RPGs.
Even the water appears to glow here. The falls are beautiful, but it is hard to tell how deep the water is. Based on the number of votes, these cavern maps aren't as liked as outdoor ones. Don't worry, winter maps start again tomorrow ;)

Along the path, the catacombs you were told are off limits are already opened. It's unnaturally dark inside. Ready your torches.
This small settlement in the woods doesn't look as inviting as you had hoped, and you don't see tracks from recent activity despite the lights still being on. Worry creeps in that something awful has happened here recently.
Here the water is shallow enough that you can cross with only your boots getting wet. That's fortunate because frost-bite can be deadly out here.

The early morning snow has already melted off the trees here. It is eerily quiet and you worry the Orcs you are supposed to be tracking are tracking you instead.
Early in your night hike, you come upon a small temporary camp. The fire is so inviting. Perhaps a short rest wouldn't be so bad?
The lake is narrowest here and your party needs to cross. Can you trust the cracked ice? It feels thick enough...
Your face is half numb but onward you march. Town is just a few hours away, and you look forward spending some time by the hearth.
While its glory days were long ago, this gatehouse is still used by local militias to protect the path, but not by choice... when vacant, bandits take up shop here for entirely different purpose.
This narrow path winds in between two fields of tall wheat. Be wary, anything could be hiding just beyond the path, waiting.
The winding trail and cool air is refreshing after your last dungeon crawl. You still feel the grime of that place, but the natural beauty of this area helps you forget.
It's easy to get lost in the maze of rocks and trees that make up this hallow. The nooks swallow sound, and sometimes cries for help.
The air is filled with the sound of falling water. Locals toss a coin in the water every time they pass over the creek. The troll that guarded the bridge was slain years ago but old habits die hard.

Following through with one of the month’s themes - Paths! One of you suggested earlier to make a continued map, so you could have a larger space for battles, and I thought that Fey Meadow would be the perfect map to do that with, and the monthly theme would work really well.
