MSP - Managed Service Providers

Are there any good products for batch scanning and OCR of documents? Or services?

As the title says. I find proofpoint (despite their recent security issue..) still filters email overall better than the built in offering by 365 when you have BP licensing. Never used mimecast, but curious what other people's opinions are in the matter. For context I use both 365 and proofpoint.

First off, this isn’t a troubleshooting post. I just found it really interesting and wanted to share. Some of the keys on the keyboard are not working. I opened the device and reseated the connector (ribbon cable). It works fine. For a while… Problem comes back. I had decided to flash the system with new win 11 (not for the purpose of troubleshooting btw, just needed a win 11 laptop). I used an external keyboard to do this. Which worked fine. Boot new system. The internal keybaord is working fine. Then stops working. Same problem. Only some keys work. # Weird Part: The keys which work on the internal keyboard, DO NOT work on the external keyboard. And vice-versa. I just thought it was interesting.

In general the users of r/msp are all about reselling propriety products and services. So I'm curious if any of them would move to lemmy.

Usually I base my monthly fee on how many hours I think it might take to support a client per month. Things are skyrocketing in price, curious what other are using as their baseline if doing it in a similar fashion.

Unfortunately, I inherited ProofPoint Essentials. What all do you use (and like!). At my last job we used Avanan across the board and I LOVED their setup. Nearly no false positives/negatives.

I created this as a place for r/msp folks to move to. If the mods of r/msp end up over here I am more than happy to elevate ya to mods if you're able to prove you are who you say you are (Mods at r/msp are hidden)
