On the last hand of poker against D'Arby, Jotaro refused to see his hand, nor exchange his cards. D'Arby was about to call Jotaro after he bet his remaining "soul chips", but Jotaro interrupts by also betting the souls of Kakyoin and Avdol. Right after hearing this raise of ante, in exchange for information about Dio's stand; D'Arby had a mental breakdown, causing him to admit defeat in his heart and lose the gamble. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... D'Arby didn't lose when Jotaro raised using their souls. He lost after Jotaro raises using his mother's soul. The sequence of events is: 1. Jotaro goes all in with his soul chips, together with Avdol's. 2. D'Arby raises him 6 chips 3. Jotaro calls him, wagering Kakyoin's soul using an IOU 4. Jotaro further raises his mother, Holly's soul, in exchange for information about Dio's stand. :::

In Snowdin, we are introduced to the multicolor tile puzzle by Papyrus. Each colored tile has a different function, and have complicated interactions, as explained by Papyrus. If the player understands Papyrus' explanation, Papyrus will activate the puzzle, only for it to generate an extremely simple layout. If the player doesn't understand it, Papyrus will explain the puzzle again, only to fumble on the details. If the player insist in being confused, Papyrus won't activate the puzzle, allowing the user to skip it. In either situation, the complicated function and interaction of the tiles was completely insignificant to the player. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... The function of the tiles is significant to gameplay. In Hotland, after hearing Mettaton sing, we revisit the multicolor tile puzzle, but this time with an actual maze and a time limit. The player had to recall the function of the tiles to navigate and complete the maze. :::

"Hi! I like shorts! They're comfy and easy to wear!". Those are the famous words uttered by Youngster Joey in Generation I (though he was unnamed until Generation 3). You encounter him on Route 3, on the way to Mt. Moon. His team consists of a Rattata and an Ekans. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Joey does not say those words. The quote is from Youngster Ben instead. Youngster Joey is the other famous Youngster, known for his endless praise of his Rattata in Generation II. :::

After our duo gets thrown into the Void, they encountered Chris Evans as the Human Torch. They were then captured and brought before Cassandra Nova, the twin sister of Charles Xavier. However, Deadpool betrayed the Human Torch by falsely accusing him of badmouthing her on the way there, incurring her anger and inciting her to tear the flesh off of his bones. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Deadpool did not falsely accuse the Human Torch. In the post credit scene, we see that the Human Torch did, in fact, say those things. :::

In the future of the beta timeline, Mayuri adopted a war orphan, Kagari. When their time machine was discovered and attacked, Kagari was sent back in time with Suzuha. During Suzuha's mission, she lost Kagari. After Suzuha jumped forwards in time to continue her mission, she kept searching for Kagari. When Kagari was found, she was identified by the Metal Upa she has with her, a keepsake from Mayuri. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Kagari didn't have a Metal Upa, it was the Green Fairy Upa. The Mayuri got the Metal Upa from capsule machine, but it was misplaced and ended up together with the time travel thesis in this timeline in 2010. The Green Fairy Upa was bought from the store in the beta timeline after Kurisu's death. :::

At the climax of fight against Pucci, many of our protagonists have died after he activated Made of Heaven, barring Emporio. He was brought over to the new universe, much to his confusion. To tie up loose ends, Pucci pursued Emporio in Green Dolphin Prison, ultimately ending up in the ghost room. There, Emporio assimilated Weather Report's stand disc, and used it to remove the oxygen in the room suffocating Pucci and finally killing him. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Emporio didn't used Weather Report's stand to remove the oxygen in the room. He actually increased the oxygen level and killed Pucci by oxygen poisoning. :::

In the Okinawa chapter, the Peek a Boo diving club hosted their own Otoori, an Okinawa drinking custom. In their variant, everyone adds the liquor of their choice to a pot, then everyone drinks from the same pot. The liquor that was added includes a hearty dose of classic Spirytus by the club members, and Awamori by Kouhei and Iori. More ridiculously, laboratory ethyl ethanol was added by the chemistry major student. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Ethyl ethanol (80%) was not added, because it would reduce the alcohol concentration of the pot, which was mainly 96% Spirytus. :::

In the original release of Maple Story, players start as a Beginner. Only after reaching level 10, they can transition into their first job by talking to the respective NPC in the area: * To be a Archer, Athena Pierce in Henesys. * To be a Warrior, Dances with Balrog in Perion. * To be a Magician, Grendel the Really Old in Ellinia * To be a Rogue, the Dark Lord in Kerning City ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Players can choose Magician as a job once they hit level 8. A patch later on standardized it to be 10. :::

Enya the Hag controls Justice, a terrifying stand that is made of a cloud of fog. It can control anybody by tying strings of fog into their open wounds. Since it is a fog, it is also basically impervious to physical attacks. Justice was ultimately defeated when Jotaro uses Star Platinum's agility and power to disperse Justice before it can reform itself. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Jotaro did not disperse Justice. He used Star Platinum to inhale Justice, causing Enya to suffocate. :::

"Gotta catch 'em all" has been the slogan for the Pokemon franchise. Thus, when the original Japanese Generation II was released, they introduced 100 new Pokemons to catch. The Pokedex also includes the Generation I Pokemons, which gives a total of 251 unique Pokemons. On top of that, they introduced Shiny variants for the Pokemon, which appears extremely rarely and is a prized item for collectors. For the less extreme fans, they (though somewhat misguidedly) added Unown, a Pokemon shaped based on the English alphabet with 26 different forms (in that generation) to collect. To accommodate for players who wishes to fill their PC with all unique Pokemons (excluding Shiny Pokemons) and Unown forms, they also increased the PC Pokemon storage capacity from 240 to 280, just barely enough to fit them. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... The initial Japanese release of Generation II doesn't have 280 space for the PC. It only have 270, which makes it shy of the 251 + 25 (other forms of Unown) = 276 slots required to fill the PC with unique Pokemons and their forms. For the international release, they increased it to 280. Kind of hints that Unown was not well thought out. Note: the 2 other forms of Unown, based on the question mark and exclamation mark, are introduced in Generation III. :::

Digimon need a lot of food to stay alive. Thus, File City has a farm that grows vegetables such as Super Carrots and Hawk Radish that are supplied daily to the player for free to feed their Digimon. Initially ran by Tanemon, you can improve the farm by recruiting other Digimons to the town, such as Palmon and finally Vegiemon. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... The vegetables are not free. The farm in File City don't primarily grow vegetables. They grow meat, and those are the daily supplies. Vegetables can be purchased once Vegiemon runs the farm. :::

After Pucci obtained Made in Heaven, he began accelerating time for all non-living things in the universe. Due to this, the whole world experienced various strange phenomena. These includes corpses rotting quickly, vehicle moving faster than a person could operate leading to widespread accidents, the sun and moon moving at fast speeds across the sky, and oddly specifically, every manga artists being unable to keep up with the weekly release schedule. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Not every manga artist is unable to keep up. In particular, Kishibe Rohan is able to keep up with the accelerated schedule. :::

Poker hands are improved by Planet cards. These Planet cards are based on various planets and dwarf planets from our Solar system, each improving the score of a specific hand type. There is also Planet X, which is based on the speculated planet that is beyond Neptune. The most elusive Planet card, that appears rarely when opening Planet packs, is the Black Hole, which increases the score of all hand types. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Even though it appears in Planet packs, Black Hole is not a Planet card. It is a spectral card, based on its card design and interaction with various Planet card based jokers such as Constellation. :::

When Giorno joined Passione, he entered into Bucciarati's team. They were assigned the task of delivering Trish Una to the boss. After discovering that the boss is trying to kill Trish, his daughter, the gang rebelled against the boss. However, despite ultimately killing Diavolo, the boss, many of their members are killed, as Giorno and Mista are the only members of the team that survived. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Fugo is also still alive, though he didn't join the rebellion against the boss. :::

The main antagonist of this part are the Pillar Men. Though they are extremely powerful, sunlight (and thus Hammon) is lethal to them. Therefore, Kars, their leader, seeks the Red Stone of Aja to become immune to it. After using it with the Stone Mask, he ultimately obtain such power, but was killed when Joseph threw him into a volcano. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Kars didn't die in the volcano. The volcano eruption propelled him into outer space which froze him and incapacitated him. :::

In Pokemon Red/Blue, we visit multiple cities and towns on our journey. Most of them have a single building with the GYM label, housing a Gym Leader. The only exception to this is Pallet Town, the players starting town; and Lavender Town, where it has the Pokemon Tower instead. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Saffron City doesn't have a single building with the GYM label. In addition to the official Psychic Gym, Saffron City has a fighting dojo, a building that also has the GYM label, even though it doesn't have an official Gym status. Also, there is no Gym Leader inside, instead it is the Karate Master. In Fire Red and Leaf Green, the dojo no longer has the GYM label, but it still has a GYM signage outside. :::

In her attempt to escape prison and stop the scheme of Pucci, a priest who is a follower of Dio, Jolyne have various allies to aid her. These includes inmates such as Ermes and F.F from the female ward, and Anasui and Weather Report from the male ward. There is also Emporio, a child who was born in prison whose stand creates a "ghost room" for the team to gather. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... F.F is not an inmate. F.F is a group of plankton that gain powers when Pucci gave it a stand disc. They took the form of a female inmate, Atroe, after befriending Jolyne. :::

In the original Fate visual novel/eroge, there are 3 different routes that are possible, each based on a female character. Each route is given a suffix to identify it, and the anime adaptations added this suffix to specify which route they are adapting. Studio DEEN adapted the Saber route which has the "Stay Night" suffix, and thus named it Fate/Stay Night. Both Studio DEEN and ufotable adapted Rin's route, and thus Fate: Unlimited Blade Works. Lastly, ufotable also adapted Fate: Heaven's Feel, which is Sakura's route. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... The visual novel is called Fate/stay night thus the last 2 anime adaptations are called Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works and Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel accordingly. Saber's route is suffixed with "Fate". Thus if we were to follow the suffixing logic for the first anime series, we would get Fate/stay night: Fate. This confusing title may be why the first anime adaption dropped the route name. :::

The Cadet Corps train and educate cadets. Only the top 10 graduates can apply for Military Police after graduation. We follow Eren and his friends as they graduate from the 104th Cadet Corps. Unsurprisingly, the 3 Marley "spies", Annie, Reiner and Bertolt occupied the top 3 spots, likely due to their previous military trainings. Or it could also be due to their power of the Titan, as Eren ranked right below them. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... The Marley warriors didn't occupy the top 3 spots. Mikasa is first place, followed by the 3, then Eren at 5th. :::

Alessi is one of the Egypt 9 Glory Gods, controlling Sethan who can reduce the age of those who touches the shadowy Stand, even to the point of becoming a fetus. It also de-ages the target's Stand, making it weaker and less potent. At the climax of the battle, he managed to de-age Jotaro into a little boy and weaken his Stand. However, he was ultimately defeated when he underestimated Jotaro's weakened Stand, which was still comparatively powerful. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Alessi didn't lose to Jotaro's Stand. Jotaro got his Stand after childhood, thus he lost his Stand when he de-aged. Alessi was beaten up by child Jotaro, which undid the de-aging. :::

Boons enhances Zagreus with powers from various gods. The highest tier Legendary boons can only appear in a run if Zagreus obtained certain prerequisite boons, which makes them more elusive. All of they provide powerful combat abilities, such as giving extra cast ammo, providing a damage blocking shield, and even granting extra death defiances. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Not all legendary boons are combat oriented. Specifically, Huge Catch (one of Poseidon's legendary boon) increases the frequency of fishing spots, which is also the scripted introduction of legendary boons to the player. :::

In order to obtain the Founding Titan, Marley commenced the Paradis Island Operation, deploying a total of 3 Warriors, each with a specific role. Annie, the Female Titan, transported the team to Wall Maria, while luring and gathering Pure Titans. Bertolt, the Colossus Titan broke the outer wall, while Reiner, the Armored Titan breached in inner walls, spilling the Titans into Shiganshina. This allowed them to infiltrate Paradis to attempt to steal the Founding Titan. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Marley deployed 4 Warriors. There is also Marcel, who was supposed to transport the team together with Annie, but he was eaten by a Titan in Paradis. :::

After defeating the 15 Stand users whose stands are named based on tarot cards, we learn about the existences of a group of elite Stand users serving Dio, known as the Egypt 9 Glory Gods. Our protagonists then encounter and fight each member of the Egypt 9 Glory Gods, giving us some memorable match-ups such as Iggy against Petshop; Joseph and Avdol against Mariah; and Jotaro, Joseph and Kakyoin against Terence T. D'Arby. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... The protagonists did not fight all of the Egypt 9 Glory Gods. In particular, they did not fight Oingo and Boingo. The two "self-destructed" when scheming to take down the group. :::

We follow Fighter D as he infiltrates the Ranger organization and participate in their Ranger exam. For the final exam, the Cadets are tasked with retrieving a key from their Junior members. When they realized that only 5 keys (and thus only 5 cadets can pass), the cadets was reorganized into two teams who fight over the keys. At the climax of the exams, each cadet engage in a showdown against their counterpart cadet in the same battalion for the key. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Not all cadet fought their counterpart. Specifically for the Blue Battalion, it wasn't Ranmaru that fought Eigen, it was Fighter XX in disguise. :::

Waver Velvet stole his teacher's artifact and joined the Fourth Holy Grail War in the events of Fate/Zero. Despite having a strong bond with Rider, he ultimately lost the war. He then returns to the Clock Tower for further studies, and became a professor. Since his teacher died in the war, he also inherited the title of Lord El-Melloi, after convincing from the next heir. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Waver did not inherit the title of Lord El-Melloi. He insisted that he is titled Lord El-Melloi II, since he felt unworthy to be compared to his teacher. :::

After experiencing the trauma of his mother's death, Eren, together with Mikasa and Armin, enlists in the 104th Cadet Corps. They are joined with other cadets around their age, notably Annie, Reiner, Bertholdt, Ymir, Christa, Sasha, Jean, Marco and Conny. They are trained by Keith Sadies, who previously was the commander of the Scout Regiment. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Ymir was not the same age as the trio. She was a Titan for around 60 years before turning back to human, so her actual age is over 70. :::

Before stand names are mostly named after music references, in their debut in part 3 Stardust Crusaders, they are all named after either tarot cards (for the earlier appearing stands of both protagonists and antagonists), or Egyptian gods (for the enemy stands of the Egypt 9 Glory Gods that appear after our protagonists arrive at Egypt). ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Not all stands in part 3 are named after tarot cards or Egyptian gods. Cream by Vanilla Ice is named after the British band. (Also, there is Tenor Sax, but he was defeated before we learn of his stand name) :::

In Cult of the Lamb, the player is guided by the mentor Ratau about several basics to managing a cult. Strangely enough, he also introduced us to Knucklebones, a fan favourite minigame. Any time between crusades, the player can visit Ratau to wager coins in this minigame that is both a mix of strategy and luck. Further into the game, the player can unlock more characters to play against, such as Flinky, Klunko and Bop and Shrumy, in that order of difficulty. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... You cannot play against Ratau at every point in the game. There is a series of event with the Fox which culminates in sacrificing Ratau, after which he is no longer available for Knucklebones. :::

One of quirky characters is Pieyon, the bird mask wearing, muscular strength-training YouTuber. He is the top earner of Ichigo Production, the company managing the up and coming B-Komachi. He contributed much to the growth of B-Komachi, firstly by giving Ruby and Kana the exposure for their idol group to his viewer base, while subjecting them to a gruelling physical routine whilst wearing the same bird masks. Later, after Mem-cho joined the group, he was the physical trainer to improve their stamina for their performance, making them sprint up hills and perform numerous rehearsals of their dance routine. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Pieyon did not train the girls. He was on vacation, and it was actually Aqua in disguise that was training them. :::

In the leap from the pseudo 3D in Super Mario Kart into true 3D, Mario Kart 64 introduced some new items. These includes the Super Mushroom (AKA the Golden Mushroom), the Fake Item Box, the Spiny Shell (AKA Blue Shell), and various triple variants of previous items such as, the Triple Mushrooms, the Triple Bananas, the Triple Green Shells and the Triple Red Shells. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Mario Kart 64 does not have Triple Bananas. It has Banana Bunch instead, which gives a trail of 5 bananas. Triple Bananas is introduced in Mario Kart Arcade GP instead. :::

Despite being faked out as the boss in the Temple of Styx, Cerberus never harms Zagreus during any of his escapes from the underworld. Instead, he rests next to the throne of Hades, allowing Zagreus to pet him. He is rather attached to Zagreus, and threw tantrums which destroyed multiple places within the House of Hades when he found out about Zagreus leaving. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Cerberus does harm Zagreus during a playthrough, albeit indirectly. In the fight with Hades with Extreme Measures 4 enabled, Cerberus will be summoned, causing falling rocks which can damage the player. :::

After discovering Nezuko's immunity to sunlight, Kagaya, the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, declared a training regiment for all its members. A training regiment was devised for the lower-ranking Demon Slayers, where each part is supervised by each of the Hashira's, with the exception of Giyu who was initially unsure about his worthiness as a Hashira, and Shinobu who was tasked with aiding Tamayo with her research. We follow Tanjiro as he completes each of these trainings of the Hashiras, beginning with fitness and stamina training under the retired Sound Hashira. Other trainings includes flexibility training under the Love Hashira, swordsmanship training under the Serpent Hashira, and finally ending with the most gruesome training under the Stone Hashira. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Tanjiro did not complete all of the Hashira's training. In particular, his training with the Wind Hashira was suspended after a scuffle broke up due to circumstances around Genya. :::

In Pokemon Red/Blue, the player journeys through Kanto, defeating Gym leaders along the way to obtain the badges required to face the Elite Four and Champion. A typical journey starts at Pallet Town to obtain their starter Pokemon. After some adventuring, the player tackles the first gym they encounter, beating Brock to get the Boulder badge. Subsequently, they beat Misty in Cerulean City for the Cascade badge then Lt. Surge in Vermilion City for the Thunder badge ::: spoiler Old Revision In Pokemon Red/Blue, the player journeys through Kanto, defeating Gym leaders along the way to obtain the badges required to face the Elite Four and Champion. The film Léon, follows an Italian-American hitman of the same name. Natalie Portman debuted in this film, acting as Mathilda, a 12 year old girl whose family was killed by corrupt DEA agents. Léon reluctantly sheltered her while the officers are searching for the missing drugs. The rest of the story follows Mathilda learning about how to be a hitman, preparing to exact vengeance for the death of her whole family. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Her vengeance was not for her whole family, it was only for her younger brother, as she wasn't on good terms with the rest of her family. :::

Communication is important when coordinating the fight against demons. Thus, each member of the Demon Slayer Corps is assigned a black crow who can talk and pass messages. Despite looking rather alike, each of the crows have their own personalities and traits, such as Tanjiro's being intelligent and prideful (frequently calling Tanjiro a "bird-brain"), Tengen's crow being fashionable and Muichiro's having long eyelashes and being abrasive to others. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Not all members are assigned a black crow that can speak. Zenitsu is assigned Chuntaro, who is neither a black crow, nor could speak (though he is still classified as a "Kasugai Crow") :::

In Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, after Austin and Venessa are caught; Dr Evil, in a cliche "Bond-villain" mannerism, decides to slowly lower the two into a tank filled with sharks, with lasers attached to their heads. Then he returns to having dinner, closing the door to the tank. His son, Scott Evil, advising to observe their deaths, and even suggested to simply shoot them with a gun instead, but those advice fell to deaf ears. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... They didn't have a tank filled with sharks. Due to sharks being on the endangered list at the time, getting sharks was too difficult. Instead, they used sea bass, with lasers attached to their heads. :::

Mitsuri, the Love Hashira, is one of the fan favourite Hashira. In her backstory, we learnt that she possess immense strength even as a child, easily overpowering even grown man. However, she found herself unable to find a suitor growing up. After her failed marriage negotiations, she realized that she has to hide her true self. She pretended to be weak, held back from eating and even dyed her hair pink in order to be more attractive. In the end, she joined the Demon Slayer Corps to fulfil her goal of finding a suitable husband who is stronger than her, rising to the ranks of a Hashira due to her physical prowess. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... She didn't dye her hair pink. It became pink because she ate too much sakura mochi. It was deemed abnormal and thus she dyed her hair black. (However, this doesn't seem to occur in the manga, and was depicted in the anime) :::

In Invincible, Robot was a rather mysterious figure. He was initially part of the Teen Team, who later joined and was appointed the leader of the new Guardians of the Globe after the previous guardians died. Throughout the series, we see that he is scheming some plan with the Mauler Twins, aiding their escape from prison. It was later revealed that the robot was controlled by a human who suffered serious deformations and illness. He was then aided by the twins to artificially create a body made from his team member's, Rex Splode's, blood. The twins then help transfer his consciousness from the original body to this new one. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... His consciousness is not transferred to the new body. It was duplicated over to the new body, and the original died of its illness. :::

In the original 151 Pokemons, Psyduck and Slowpoke are the two "derpy-looking" Water/Psychic types. Psyduck has mystical powers, but doesn't recall using them; which is why it always looks so confused. Meanwhile, Slowpoke is so oblivious that if something bites its tail, it won't even notice for a whole day. In episode 66 of the anime, when the team is tasked by Oak to figure out what causes the evolution of Slowpoke to Slowbro, Misty's Psyduck comes out of it's Pokeball and proceed to have a long, seemingly random and unintelligible conversation with a Slowpoke. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... Psyduck is not a Water/Psychic type, it is a pure Water type despite it's namesake. (The Japanese name of Psyduck was Ko-duck, which could mean "child-duck" and thus does not hint at its psychic abilities at all) :::

Yor Forger, previously Yor Briar, works for Garden as an assassin under the code name "Thorn Princess". She is highly well-suited in her role, having immense physical strength that even easily overpower WISE agent Fiona Frost when playing tennis. She is also highly resistant to poison. She drank a cocktail laced with pufferfish poison, and only felt slightly unwell. When fighting the assassins on the cruise ship, she was unfazed after inhaling poison gas capable of taking down a bear. ::: spoiler Correction Um actually ... She did not feel unwell after drinking the poison. She was suffering from a gunshot wound during the previous assignment, and drinking the poison relieved her pain. :::
