List local communities only

Hi, recently I've been diving in to the fediverse. I'm dreaming of having thriving local communities that federate with the rest of the world.

For this you need to be able to see local content only. It is possible to see local posts only, but afaik it's not possible to see a list of local communities only.

Am I correct with this assumption or is there some option I'm missing? How do others feel about this feature?
