Awesome. I figured as much, it seems to be every time I'm like.. "This would be cool a cool option in COSMIC" y'all add it as an option the next week lol

Interesting talk. I didn’t know that some applets could be text or an icon depending on panel edge.
Is that going to be a configurable option? I’d prefer the application launcher icon instead of the word application on my top panel/dock
The whole "Spatial Computing" thing now being popularized by Apple makes me hope that maybe some Android devs start submitting their flat apps to the Quest. Not everything has to be immersive 3D experiences. Just let me put my streaming movie/music app off to the side while I sit in my chair at a hotel please.

They have lights that pulse around each of the cameras when turned on. Seems like a good enough indicator to me

Is it bad if I kinda don't want my watch to stand out too much?

I've used the eufy cams that support HKSV and they have pretty good night vision with motion detection. Currently swapped over to the Nest Outdoor Cam with starling hub and I feel like that would give you a clearer picture.

The swipe virtual keyboard is going to be amazing too.
Me (DM) and my friends will be trying out the beginner box this weekend. There are 2 players and myself as the DM. Is there anything we should do before we play? We’ve played D&D 5e a couple times but this will be our first go at Pathfinder. Thank you!

Is threads a separate company though? It's pretty explicit in saying "Threads an Instagram App"

Yeah but I guess I’m looking for more of a two lane layout

Yeah, I’ve got a couple of the google nest cams through starling and they work “ok”
I wish there were more native options

I wonder why they launched their door lock with Zigbee instead of thread?

Yeah I was a staunch user of the Dual Sense but once I got the charging dock and low latency with the 8bitdo I haven't looked back. Also back buttons are handy

I think I remember hearing good things about the Vocolinc VAP1

Looking for some good headphones to use for listening to music, and gaming. Could do wireless.. but I feel like USB or 3.5 mm connection would be best. Seems like a lot of the big brands have stuff locked into their windows apps. What are you all using?

I guess I’ve really only done it for an hour? I just get tired of using the virtual keyboard.
Basically title. After seeing the Apple headset announced and is aimed much more at being a “computer” replacement than anything else.. I started to realize most of what the showed could already be done in the Quest. Web browsing, apps, the only thing that makes me jealous is the eye tracking and using my hands on my lap. I’ve started to try to use my quest as a browse the web, watch a video, kind of device and for the most part it works pretty good. The isolation isn’t ideal but I think the Quest 3’s improved pass through may help.

Been loving my Thelio from System76 and it's been rock solid on the gaming front.

I think they are. I wonder how much lighter it's actually going to feel.
(You gotta start somewhere.)

I am starting to really think that beats are just AirPods for android owners.
I think I’m most excited to see how hand tracking has improved. I would love to be able to use all my fingers to type on the virtual keyboard.
