I thought the interview was very well-presented considering the target audience was not the people who are already open-minded to or believers in NHI. Ross posed some of the FAQ of both skeptics and cynics, which I thought he did well.

I actually feel a bit more hopeless this morning that the truth will ever see the light of day.

Social media and YouTube comments showed how truly ignorant much of the general public is on this subject, and I am afraid there will never be the level of pressure required for disclosure to happen. Maybe it's a result of the shitshow that is public education or it's something else, but the questions people were asking were of the lowest level. For example, "If it's real, why does it only happen in the US?" I saw that one repeated, and usually posed in sarcastic or condescending ways, by people who have probably never read an international news story in their lives but somehow expect news from Africa or South America to hit them in the face. Some incredible people have put together amazing repositories of information and created compelling documentaries and videos, but people aren't willing to even say, "Hmm. Let me look into this a little." It's like almost nobody knows how to do basic research, or even cares to educate themselves on something that's new to them.

I'm also more hopeless about the powers that be ever telling the truth. They will not give up their power, privilege, or wealth. I hope I'm wrong and just experiencing disclosure fatigue, but when you think of the wars fought and people killed over wealth, religion, fossil fuels... I can't see the most powerful and wealthy of the world allowing that to go away.

I probably should have led with this, but I do believe Grush. What he said makes sense, such as AARO not even having or being given access to the real information. It also clarified for me that the whistleblowing already happened internally, and this is just public reporting on that process. So much of what's known in the UFO body of evidence was also corroborated, even/especially the disinformation by the government, which circles back to my frustration and anger.

At the least, it was thought-provoking. I found myself asking new, higher-level questions than I have before. I am at least hoping this helps dispel with the stigma of being believer.

My interpretation is that you won't be able to trust any advice or recommendations because you'll have no way of knowing if you're reading the words of a genuine person or a well-placed ad. From the business perspective, your ads will be more valuable because it's a "better" way of targeting your market.

I could be wrong, but that's how I read it.

I've been pleasantly surprised at the tone of most reporting. I can understand the tempered perspective of this article, and I hope it gets more people to learn about the recent developments and genuinely consider them.

Side note: YouTube has been suggesting a lot of UFO-related videos this week, and so far only one had the X-Files theme. That's promising!

I personally think this is the story to watch. Vegas feels like a distraction. I love long-form podcasts, so I am looking forward to the 7-hour interview being shared this weekend!
