Ah yes probably the Smaler version, your right. Still, a very good llm better than gpt 3

Might be a dvd. 70b ollama llm is like 1.5GB. So you could save many models on one dvd.

Lol. Relax. Seriously, take a few deep breaths and maybe turn off your device for an hour.
Nobody cares about what you wrote. It's not even the topic of conversation.

why did you specify in the west :)? You know why you did that, because nuclear plants do get built in 5 years elsewhere.
-
emm, yes very much so. Like you said, they're are even a few suppliers who can do that. They just need enough orders for it to make sense.
-
you should check that data again. Renewables are great, but some countries have better access than others. Right now Germany is building gas plants and burning coal and there is no end in sight for that.
-
I might check that file later thanks, but what I'm taking about is just plain physics. You can not store enough energy today to make a big difference at any cost. And the cost is really high and can not be close to what a power plant can generate on the fly. It's just can't. Especially if you are taking lithium batteries.

That's not precise. A nuclear plant can be built in like 5 years. And the supply chain is not the issue when you have lots of orders. But there are not many. It's also not precise to say you can build huge amounts of renewables instead. Probably Spain doesn't need nuclear, since it's got plenty of sun. On the other hand many countries don't have areas that have enough sun and consistent wind.
Id also say that the part you said that cost of renewables combined with storage would be a fraction of the cost, that is completely false.

If the need arises, we will find the uranium.

I think most people that write about politics, even those who know a bit more about politics think too deeply into it. On the other hand most voters just shoot from the hip. They will see a younger energetic face next to Trump and that will be enough.

I hoped I don't need to list other actors and factors as they are pretty obvious.
You provided reason? Lol. What are you, a comic book character? Relax. You wrote down a classic America-centric far leftist opinion that has been around for 30+ years. Nothing worth repeating.
PixelatedSaturn Now • 100%
That's only partly true. Its half of what America wants, but you completely ignore that there are other actors and factors in the situation.
No matter how much weapons Ukraine gets, it's still better for them to get a few than none.

That's not entirely true. China also likes a weak Russia that's selling them raw materials underpriced. They like this destabilisation, as long as it doesn't get out of hand.

There are many open source LLMs that you can ask anything you want and no one will know.
But almost certainly chatgpt won't ban you no matter what you ask, no matter how many times. They use your questions for training.

Super.
All are great. Except : Inkscape is decent, except that it's nowhere near illustrator. It's got issues. Issues that maybe casual users can tolerate. A more demanding user won't.
Gimp really isnt a substitute for photoshop. It's slow, unstable and ux is dogshit. Too bad.

It's apple, people here don't like apple, I don't either. I don't think it will become successful. It's not practical, it's expensive and its really not that useful. But it's the first major step I think. It's a great testing ground for future products. Hope new products will come fast. No mater who from.
In the discovery phase of a UX project, a problem statement is used to identify and frame the problem to be explored and solved, as well as to communicate the discovery’s scope and focus.
I've been doing UX and UI for many years. I just returned to it two years ago, having been an art director for about 10 years in between. Its been really exciting for these two years and I'm even coming up to some new interesting projects, but a lot of times I'm really not feeling it. I think it's probably also because I'm alone in a small team. The team is great, ultra supportive, great bunch of people. Still, often I feel like my talents should be in programming somewhere. But definitely not web development. I've done that in the beginning of my career and I never want to do it again. I think that currently UX is best positioned to be one of tyne most important professions in the digital space. Our tools will evolve closer and closer to the actual apps and we will need less and less engineers between prototypes and final apps. Why would I want to be a programmer? I just have this jearning of writing stuff down in a code and that it works exactly like I want to. Design is flimsy by nature. It's not mathematics. Its a weird feeling I often get. I like ux. I'll for sure stay longer and see where it goes.
Or maybe a two click solution? :)
Incredible the designs we already had. The technologies we went through and abandoned.
From the launch of Dev Mode, a new space for developers, to the introduction of variables for best practices adaptable designs, advanced prototyping features, auto layout updates, an improved font picker, and a redesigned file browser, Figma is revolutionizing the design and development process. Whether you’re a beginner or a senior UX/UI designer, discover how these updates can enhance your design workflow.
I was waiting for this tool to come out. Didn't really know what to expect, but looking at this video it seems pretty much useless. I don't understand in what situation I would use it? Joking around before starting a project, maybe for some feature inspiration?
Is Lemmys grey off-putting for you? Its really really grey. In the way something devoid of color is grey, not a cool grey that makes you think of a spaceship just before it fires a bright neon color laser. I know I know, its like basic, rugged, kind of gives of the vibe that time was spent for more important things than that. And yeah, sure, there is that daylight option, but seriously, how many people don't use dark mode.
Lemmy is new (newish? I dont know I just got here). There are tons of stuff that could be done better. Currently the only android app for Lemmy on the play store Jerboa, that I use, has its growing pains. UX wise this one is the worst (excluding stability issues). I think that the right tripple dot menu is not needed and options there can be integrated to the hamburger menu on the left. The menu for choosing between all-local-subscribed should be a side swipe. We are only left with the icon for sorting which should look less similar to the hamburger menu. On the bottom I literally dont know what the house icon does. The bottom hamburger menu is sort of the same as the top one? Maybe merge these two into the bottom one. The bookmark function has way too big importance for what it is. Who bookmarks stuff in an app like this anyway? Like this we would incredibly simplify the interface while making it more intuitive and faster to use. What do you think?
This has to be a perfect project for anyone looking to improve their portfolio.
It is. Especially here on Lemmy
