Agreed. Itās mostly an ad delivery platform these days. Can be somewhat OK if you have a DNS based blocker but hard to block built in spyware.

Microsoft showed their hand and for some it was the last straw. It might not come to non-copilot pcs (for now) but they showed users they are OK with turning the OS into spyware.

100% switched because of Recall. Been a Linux user on and off for 20 years, windows was my daily driver for the past 5 or so (windows 10 was OK in my mind). Once Recall was announced, I bounced back to Linux. Having Steam popularize gaming on Linux has helped a ton

Been a Linux user for 20+ years but windows WAS my daily driver the last 5 of themā¦ got fed up with all the ads and plans for the screen recording and pulled the plug. Linux 100% for me again!

I picked up this game about a year ago and played for about 4 hours. Never made it off my starting planet. Kid wanted to play it and had me hooked again.
Want to also echo thanks to those who helped out!

I found this, dynamicwallpaper.club searching for āmacos dynamic wallpapersā.
Not sure what format they are in but recently ditched windows for Linux/kde and noticed KDE has some semblance of desktop wallpaper switching. I havenāt tried it out yet but maybe this helps out somehow.

This looks nice. Love the yellow/gold here, an underused color!

For film, I watched 7 Men From Now (1956). This was the first old western I watched in many years (since I was a child). Also watched Unstoppable which was visually interesting but pretty meh in most other regards.
For series, rewatching How I Met Your Mother for some good laughs.

Any recommendations for other animated shows that are more adult themed?

- Rewatched Bourne Identity
- Oppenheimer (first watch)
- John Wick (fun but not my favorite)
And the gem of the bunch was King of New York. Went into this one not knowing anything about it and loved every second of it. Weird and almost art-housey but it was a great ride.

Awesome and interesting take. Iāve decided to wait for the DLC based on this and other conversations Iāve had.
I am seriously considering picking the game up on steam sale to play on my deck. I havenāt played a āmodernā game in a great many years, but love the look of this one. From everything I see, it looks like it plays a lot like Grand Theft Auto, which is fine in my mind. Iāve spent many a good play through on GTA in the past just messing around.
Hey all, Old time gamer here, havenāt played anything recent in years. Picked up a deck with the sale and looking to pick up a āpremiumā game. So far I am going back and forth between - Cyberpunk 2077 - FFVII Remake - No Manās Sky I am not a huge fan of shooters and I know these three have more of an action gameplay style. I have Skyrim which I have played a tad on PC and could see myself playing that on the deck. What Iād like is something I can pick up and play for an hour or less and put back down for a few days. Things Iād love in a game - some level of replayability / open world content to mess around with - good story - good ambience / music And obviously something that plays decent on the deck. I am leaning on Cyberpunk even with reading and watching mixed-to-negative reviews.
