Also the formerly banned documentary style movie Native Land narrated by famous African American communist singer and actor Paul Robeson is pretty based. McCarthyists immediately banned it and all major media outlets in the us denounced it as propaganda.

Land and Freedom is a British film produced in England by an English director under a then-British production company. It is a super based movie about the anti-fascist struggle by the Spanish Republican forces and it glorifies leftist unity, Communism, and United anti fascism. All of the major characters are either communists or anarchists, the main protagonist being an English Communist, and there is literally a scene where they sing L’Internationale in Spanish.

I was banned two days ago. 😭 I was addicted to Reddit too. I said that we should be defeatist and I got permanently suspended from Reddit for “threatening violence”. For saying we should be defeatist!

I’m experiencing the same issue so I’ve switched over to browser version.

I mean, from a musical standpoint we have great songs to listen to too. L’Internationale has a million different versions and every one of them is a banger. The Red Army is the Strongest (White Army, Black Baron) is fantastic, and The Battle is Going Again (Lenin is young again) is truly a banger. The Soviet Anthem is great both in the original Russian and the English version sung by comrade Paul Robeson. The East is Red is both a song and a musical play. The song is a Maoist classic and there is actually a full 2 hour The East is Red musical recorded and available for free on YouTube. If you are into hip hop then almost everything from Loud Records is at least somewhat socialist especially anything by the duo Dead Prez, who are Afro-Marxists and Maoists. The group OUTLAWZ is also fantastic and every member has a “revolutionary name”. Da Lench Mob isn’t anybody to be slept on either.
