Brilliant! Thank you.
Seems that when I read messages or replies the notifications don’t register it and I have “unread” messages I have already read. How might I fix this?

We’re still feeling our way here in this decentralized platform but ideas will present themselves.
I’m just glad that there are alternatives to surveillance capitalism.

I know the meme is photoshopped but the buildings look familiar. Anyone know if this is Portland?

Now that you mention it — yup. I see the lack of perspective.
I’m still inclined to believe that the buildings are in Portland.

End of week seven — I’ll be honest: I’m feeling it.
I think there’s a lot for us to learn about Lemmy and the Fediverse that benefits us as writers and critical thinkers, but I also think this is just going to be fun.
It might also be a place — this community at Lemmy, where all of us can share our papers with the next group of students.
Downside is that the next group of students might plagiarize, but the upside is that the anthology might really underscore the value is sharing our own ideas, doing our own work, and growing as writers in our own way.
Hey — that line is a first draft and I see the power of three in there…
And here's some text... The reason we are here is to practice writing...
If you are not from LBCC or do not know what LBCC is, this community will likely bore you. We are a group of people who recently heard about Lemmy and are intrigued about its structure and philosophy and just want to learn more. If you can help familiarize us with Lemmy and the Fediverse, please feel free to post. But likely LBCC Writers will be using this place to get used to Lemmy and familiarize ourselves about the potential opportunities.
