lemmy.globe.pub is a tiny low-activity instance dedicated to travel related topics. Apparently some ass-hat created some community called “G's Chicken and Waffles” and spammed it with what’s claimed to be Ruby videos. So now creating new communities is dysfunctional, perhaps in response to that asshole. Of course with only 6 communities and like 6 or so users, this instance may be doomed. I wonder if the signal to noise ratio were to improve, if that would enable the node to improve overall.

Would be nice if the Lemmy client would warn users that the original server is dead.
