Fascism is a tool, it is not "inevitable" but is a historical phenomena, it comes in times of crisis as the old society transforms in the new. There will only be fascist answer once a communist movement is large enough to be a vanguard of the country. Will this fascism be in the West? No it will be in the global south. Reactionary forces within the global south have already quelled many communist rebellions, but it is inevitable that they will lose.
The DOTP within Western countries will be the last. When the imperialist countries have to face their contradictions, only then they will fall.

Their comments were the same but their situation was different, reddit did absolutely everything it could to be nice to them and to try and keep them. Reddit has done absolutely nothing to try and build a positive relationship with the left.
If the entire population of /r/genzedong moved to /r/socialism with almost no change in moderation, /r/socialism would also be killed off by reddit because it would become an immediate threat to the status quo with its high activity level and the quality of the arguments put forwards.
None of this has anything to do with moderation choices. It is a political repression. T_D on the other hand had a belligerent modteam that was uninterested in reining in some of the problems that existed. It wasn't politically repressed in the same way, Spez is far right and I suspect a majority of the techbros in reddit are psychotic libertarian ancap age-of-consent types.

I feel like I saw this same comment 3 years ago. Except replace every mention of r/GenZeDong with r/The_Donald and you’ll have the same exact comments The_Donald users were making while their subreddit was dying. Sad

`u/Anananaso - originally from r/GenZhou` Mostly short primers or articles on what actually went down that isn't western propaganda (book recs are good too). Basically the mini-series came up in conversation the other night and everyone was talking about the disaster as if having watched TV made them a bunch of nuclear experts, extremely aggravating. I'm relatively ignorant on the subject so I'd like to learn more.

I’m glad you can take strength out of your faith. Also it’s very healthy you’re aware about All of these feelings and how to cope with them. For me personally I learned to have a somewhat stable relation with keeping in touch with my political beliefs and learning to let them go to focus more on “life” in general after i went offline for a month or so. Also in general society opening up more now Made it a lot easier to proces some of the sleepless doomscrolling nights.

Can I have a source directly from communists in the Philippines. This could just be the government framing the opposition as having ties with the CPP NPA

Their main publication Ang Bayan defends Robredo and promotes her. Their mass organizations are closely tied to the CPP. Their lines are nearly indistinguishable.
They have sided with US imperialism by splitting the PKP-1930. Also Sison was friends with Aquino who worked closely with the CIA before Marcos executed him.

They are endorsing the Liberal Party candidate Leni Robredo. Their mass organizations in BAYAN are promoting her.
That is an error but mass organizations have autonomy from the rest of the party so it might not be representative of the party itself.
They have sided with the US since 1968.
When?

Vanguardism is attainable. Its hard to see core imperial nations make the transition but if we end up in a multi polar world, particularly one where the US is forced into terminal decline, it is attainable.
Read your theory. Understand the tactics of the guerrila. Bide your time. There is no perfect time for revolution but there is always time to prepare

Communism is inevitable even under fascism. WHen the nazis controlled europe during ww2 there were many guerilla movements lead by communist parties and today there are communist guerillas gaining strength in places like the Philippines and India
`u/JITTERdUdE - originally from r/GenZhou` Something that’s been in my mind recently. Shit looks like it’s going to hit the fan over the next several years. Seeing how easily the population has slipped into a Russophobic rage through disinformation and propaganda shows that the seeds for fascism have already been planted here. This country’s government does everything to actively suppress communist movements and are attempting to exhaust Marxist-Leninist efforts. I have developed two reactions to this, one cynical and one more optimistic, but I struggle to tell which one is closer to reality. The cynical side of me thinks that this country has fallen too far into the deep end and can’t be saved, that communism cannot happen in a place like this, and it’s better to leave and start elsewhere than stay and possibly die at the hands of fascists. The other part of me believes that choice could be cowardly, and it is better to stay and create communist infrastructure and protect the marginalized.

`u/Bacon_Is_Greasy - originally from r/GenZhou` At least in classical Marxist texts there is a focus between class divisions and the inequalities that come with those those divisions. I have been thinking about the economic differences within the working class and if those differences would cause any divisions after the revolution and into socialism. I know communism isn’t egalitarian in that we all get the same pay and things like that, I was just wondering if those differences would have us regress back into class society.

From the perspective of Marxist Dialectical Materialism, it is impossible in our current epoch to imagine a stateless society. The premise of dialectical materialism is that since society is constantly in flux, every epoch contains contradictions, that is, Progressive and reactionary, forces destroying the current order (or bringing about the next order) and forces sustaining it. The job of a Marxist is to identify the contradictions, then to aid the progressive forces while opposing the reactionary ones.
For example, looking at the Capitalist epoch, the Progressive forces are: abolishing feudalism, creating the proletariat, socializing production, generating enormous material wealth, and promoting cultural and social interaction. The reactionary forces are the dictatorship of capital, the creation of the bourgeoisie, the alienation of social relations, aritifical scarcity and inequality, and imperialism.
The Marxist should support the eradication of feudalism while also opposing the dictatorship of capital, back the proletariat against the bourgeoisie, oppose artificial scarcity, support cultural intercourse while fighting imperialism.
It makes no sense to discuss what Communism would look like when the world hasn't even entered the socialist epoch (or in the case of China, the higher mode of socialism). At best we can only adumbrate it.

The wealth of European leaders/oligarchs is connected to the US-controlled financial system. They have worked for a long time to get their hands on so much wealth, but they could lose most of it if the US chooses to sanction Europe next (or even just those leaders individually). They would have to start from nothing again, and even then, China wouldn't even allow them to hoard similar amounts of assets and power compared to what they have now.

Since the overwhelming majority of crimes arise from inequality, there just won't be that many. Other than that, society will absolutely maintain security forces that can handle those outliers. It's necessity for any society to have an organised defense, or else it cannot really defend itself.
