oops, lemmur seems to have some problems on my phone, tried to respond 2 times :) will look into state side working, might be an option, already thought about, but historically i would guess they care, but might not be checking that thorough.

  • hello people, is anyone working in the actual cyber security industry as penetration tester? i do for a while now, but still in my first job. need to find a new one at the moment and going through a lot of hassle to get a job that's fits. but having a hard time with it. do you think having a not quite hidden association (edit: as in posting in them) to anarchist online communities (etc, edit: like attending protests, squatted communities) will have an impact on getting hired in the industry? also what did you experience regarding your own beliefs and the industry? while my first job was great the process of getting hired seems pretty fucked up, in perspective of it being a very sought after skill. edit 2: or ideas about alternative work in this area which not include joining any ransomware gang :) Bug Bounty is obviously an option, but I would rather work in a team and also have pay checks to count on for once '-.- also thx for reading :)
