Looking for a Victorian supernatural PnP

I've done some more research and I think I found it. It's already out of Print and I think never that big to begin with, but still I present:

    On Her Majesty's Arcane Service

  • Hello boardgame community! About a year ago I briefly came across a PnP Ruleset that I found very intruiging, but I cannot find it anymore. Also not on google withaforementioned keywords, so I hope you'll be able to help me out. Here's what I (think I) remember: - It's set in a Victorian era- - The players are under the command of the queen and have to fight the supernatural - They party has a shared resource pool that the have to assemble beforehand - If the players prepared wrong they have to abort the mission and try again in the next session - Maybe there was something about magic corruption? That's all I can remember, I hope you guys can help me out on this one! All hints are welcome! P.S.: I'm quite sure it is *not* candela obscura, as this has not been made public at that time.

How should I secure my data on Nextcloud against physical attackers?

I understand a complete server reset would be inconvenient.

I'm quite fond of veracrypt: It offers good encryption and is transparent when mounted.

You can create and mount a container file with veracrypt, copy your existing data in there and replace the original folders with appropriate symlinks. I think thats the best tradeoff for good protection and convenience

  • Curious, can one DRM bought books from the Books app on a Mac M1?
  • larmicon larmicon Now 100%

Depends ok the DRM technology. The only PDF DRM I came across so far was using the horrible feature by adobe digital editions.

It can be removed by using calibre and an unofficial plugin called noDRM, which should work on Mac as well (didnt test it tho, I dont own a Mac. Worked fine on windows tho)

I've been contributing to it via Street complete (can get it on fdroid) and it has become quite a hobby of mine.

There's "Vampire: the masquerade - Shadows of New York" and "Vampire: the Masquerade - Coteries of New York". They both have just around 3/5 stars on gog, so I dont know if they're actually good. I enjoyed playing them a few years back tho

Depends ok the cloud solution you use, but it definitely could be an issue. Probably not because of locking, but because the files probably aren't locked with the clientson there could be issues while merging the changes.

It seems to be file based, so wouldn't it be able to use other self-hosted sync-tools like the next cloud client (given you're hosting your own instance)?
