Telegram was an easy way for us to keep in touch with my grandparents back home before the IR banned it. Now signal is banned? Whose grandparents are going to be able to use a VPN? Infuriating.

Like to preserve their established order, they feel they have to prevent people from connecting. That's infuriating. But that's the whole world these days, isn't it.

Crazy how even the most basic innocuous messaging apps become a threat in the eyes of the IR. I'm not even particularly anti-IR, but this shit is the worst. When they do this, it paints them in a really bad light.
