One of the students' names who did this was in the non-paywalled chunk of the article. A news search for that name brings up a ton of links about the story.

It is kind of funny to think of a bunch of rich nazis all striving to outbid each other to bail this asshole out, thereby making a bigger and bigger pile of reparations for the Sandy Hook families.

I'd normally be interested in a job lot of discount media production gear from a fire sale, but I don't need to taint my home with the bad karma or stale grifter breath surely trapped in those particular microphones.

He also has suggested that Infowars’ assets could be bought by his supporters, allowing him to continue hosting his show as an employee under the Infowars brand in their home city of Austin, Texas.
“It’s very cut and dry that the assets of Free Speech Systems, the website, the equipment, the shopping cart, all that, can be sold,” Jones said on a recent show. “And they know full well that there are a bunch of patriot buyers, and then the operation can ease on.”

I used to be an avid player of CAH, but I clearly remember the feeling of sitting at my last game of it one day in my 30s and feeling very much that I, personally, had outgrown it forever.
I have, however, remained a fan of the company, their awesome stunts, and the real spirit behind them and this is certainly continuing to keep that fire in my heart burning. Go CAH! Fuck that guy.

Does anyone really post anything to Dailymotion besides blatantly unauthorized TV stuff? I can't imagine it'd be very good vibes for anyone trying to make an honest living with original content over there.

And in the modern era there's generally no practical reason to use "u" for "you" and so forth anymore, and doing so just makes you seem weirdly lazy, elderly, childish, and really out of touch all at once.
![Photo of a US passport and a passport cover custom-printed with the cover art from the original US edition of the novel "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." Said art features a hand giving the universal thumb gesture for hitching a ride while a green planet makes a silly face against a backdrop of space. (Douglas Adams and many fans dislike this version of the cover, but it was on the first copy of the story I had as a kid and I'll always have great fondness for it.)](https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/8cbaf935-70d2-4e3f-9ee7-460fcf580c68.jpeg) ![The passport in its Hitchhiker's Guide cover.](https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/ffe7eae5-5248-4db4-9d6c-f1de97ff1912.jpeg) I got a new passport and learned you can get any image you want printed onto a passport holder, and this had to happen. I briefly considered making some original cover art based on how the Guide itself is described in the story, but I then thought about all the reasons not to pull out something that says "DON'T PANIC" in large, friendly letters in view of some jittery border guard who may not get the literary reference.

Hi, all! I'm posting to Lemmy from desktop, and I'm having trouble finding where one adds an [image description](https://joinfediverse.wiki/Best_practices/en#Accessibility) (commonly known as a "caption" or "alt text") for accessibility when making an image post. Help is appreciated, thanks in advance!
