or maybe we acknowledge these issues and browse lemmy for entertainment and getting away from the stresses of daily life rather than be constantly reminded of it and roped into repetitive discussions that are preaching to the choir
err, what I meant was we need to burn down the system

You really don't need to care about whatever's happening with Threads as a casual user

I've been playing a lot of Engineer lately. Aside from the fact that I have to be the one to blow up vehicles, the RPG is actually an insanely powerful weapon against normal people. It's an instakill with a big radius and a potentially very long range, I've sniped snipers with the RPG and got some hate lol.
Also the engineer can use semi-automatics which are great. The M110 is my favorite weapon in the game so far.

Nope, it's projectile-based. You can see your bullet travel as you snipe and there's quite a bit of drop-off (at least with starting snipers)

What the hell, this still happens? This was a bug I had like 6-7 years ago. Same problem, KDEWallet popping up asking me for verification even though I never used it.

Mostly aesthetically, but also since Linux Mint is a very stable distro updates are usually slow and the packages it uses are often a little outdated. If you're the type of person to want to update to the newest thing as soon as it's out, then it's probably not for you.

It's browser based which means there's no bare metal CPU or GPU calls in can make.
Here's hoping WebGPU can fix that in the future.

Ehhh I don't know, people said the same thing when Cowboy Bebop was teased. It all looked good enough until the show actually dropped.
Shows practically nothing, but reveals a 2024 release date. I have… Low expectations. Edit: [New tweet shows Aang, Katara, Sokka and Zuko](https://twitter.com/netflix/status/1670191089121107968)
It was announced at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival that Adult Swim's Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal Season 3 is in production.
The soundtrack is a placeholder, apparently. Looks pretty good! I hope you can zoom out the camera though... The game looks a little cramped.
Is this a known issue? I haven't gotten any notifications when people replied to my comments or posts.
I really should go back and finish the first one...
August 24th!
