Blue LLama Jazz Club, The Earle, Weber’s Restaurant and Paesano Restaurant and Wine Bar have all been recognized for their quality of wine services in a new list created by Wine Spectator. The awards recognize restaurants that offer wine lists with “interesting” selections that are “appropriate” to the meals they serve and can appeal to a range of wine drinkers, according to Wine Spectator’s website.

I know the article doesn't mention Ann Arbor, but I figured it's relevant for folks going on the river.

From the article: > We will have one- to two-day periods when the smoke will clear this summer. This will happen when a strong cold front comes through and brings a solid round of thunderstorms. This should clear out the sky until the next blob of western Canada smoke moves back in.

Now that the A2 Summer Festival is over, we’ll be looking for more opportunities to enjoy live music in and around the area. We’re planning on going to North Star Lounge for Kelley Kimball & Djangophonique tomorrow. Would love to hear any other recommendations people have!

Hello, everyone! I just wanted to say hello and say thanks to everyone for being involved in this community. I am certain many of us have left Reddit because of their disastrous and user-hostile changes, so I am hoping we can create a vibrant replacement community here where we can post, converse, and share information about living, working, and traveling in Ann Arbor. If you have a chance, please say hello in the comments section! And I would welcome any of your contributions to this community... but I will keep posting until you all get involved!

IMO, these are welcome changes that should help build trust with the public.

Ann Arbor is working to reduce annual greenhouse gas emissions from 2.1 million tons per year to 0. Here's a [direct link](https://www.a2gov.org/departments/sustainability/Documents/OSI_three_year_annual_2023%20%28004%29.pdf) to the report itself.

This is a great opportunity to support local small business in multiple ways. Miss Kim has been continually giving back to the local community through their Feed The Community effort, but Tuesday's dinner will benefit Growing Hope and the Ypsi Farmer's Market. If you're already going to be looking for a delicious dinner on Tuesday, consider this event!

Even though this is a sponsored story on the Free Press website, I don't think it's biased. I still see a ton of fun things to do this summer! It's a beautiful summer in southeast MI so far this year. I hope you all are getting out there to enjoy it!

My guy must have been really upset that his friend was getting KFC without him.

There's an event in Hunt Park tomorrow to discuss the negative consequences of DTE's reliability tomorrow at Hunt Park. Is anyone going? DTE has been so tremendously terrible over the past year.

My girlfriend and I recently decided to take up disc golfing as a fun, relaxing, cheap activity. She's having a lot of fun, but she's still not super confident in her shots, so she prefers some pretty easy and open fairways. What are your favorite beginner-level courses in the A2 area? I've been looking at dgcoursereview.com, but I'd prefer to get opinions from real people. TIA!
