Somebody downloaded an album from me today called "World's Greatest 2 Day Waterbed Sale!". Yes people do download the weirdest stuff.

Definitely don't do this. It won't help with port forwarding over a VPN, and it will increase attack surface for no reason.

With Spotify, both you and artists are still screwed.
If you have Spotify free you will be interrupted by ads breaking all immersion in your albums. Artists will get paid barely anything.
If you have Spotify Premium, you will have to pay money, and most of that money won't even go towards the artists. The artists will get paid a little more then barely anything.

Oh wow thats cool. I remember Windows Live Writer from way back.
I still use [Font Renamer ](http://fontrenamer.com/)to manage my font collection. It works great but hasn't received an update since 2008. Even the website looks straight out of the Windows XP era.

Yes. No more of that unlock code nonsense. Even Fairphone has an online bootloader unlocking process. I hate it.

Making it illegal to lock bootloaders would make each device community-maintainable.

Also the fact that cows obviously don't wear pants and they are herbivores so they would not eat meat anyways.

Thank you, that's super helpful.
I love the idea of federation, but there is one major issue with it. I have my account on Lemmy.world and have been browsing through Lemmy.world for a bit now. There is only one thing stopping it from being a smooth experience. Sometimes, when I click on links, it will take me to another Lemmy instance. When this happens, I have to manually type in the URL on Lemmy.world instead. Is there a browser extension that automatically redirects other Lemmy instances to the Lemmy instance you specify (the one your account is on)?
