This is simply not true. Even at fast chargers I do not get the advertised charging rate in my vehicle. So many factors influence it (heat, other vehicles charging, my cars software, etc..). I am lucky and can charge at home, but I. Road trips, I'm taking 25-30 minutes to charge, which is an inconvenience at this current time.

I remember enjoying this. I need to re watch it because I can't remember most of the highlights.

An AI chatbot for a cloud service I use helped me find the right documentation for setting up SSO. It's not all bad. But the way it's pushed is bad.

I have a Dell XPS and have had zero issues with it. Does what I need - which is minimal, I admit, but it's great.

Absolutely will do. I may grab it this weekend so I'll do that.
The original was great but had so many issues. It was one of the most clunky games I've ever played, but it was so fun. So weird.

I may give this a try. Absolutely loved the original no matter how janky the mechanics were. If that is solid, I'll play this.

Dang, that's unfortunate. I'd rather not buy any additional hardware. I can cast from windows to the TV easily so I know casting is possible.
I searched around and I couldn't find a way to cast my laptop running mint to my TV. For reference, I am aware that I can cast to Chromecast supported devices through chrome, but my TV is an LG and it does not support Chromecast. Does anyone have a method to cast my desktop to an LG TV?

I run 500-700km in my shoes before they become my walking shoes. The shoes just can't take it much more and I start to lose traction or feel some discomfort in the feet.
Running shoes are definitely expensive, but if you're running a lot then the possibility of injury exists so I like to be on the safe wide with my "equipment" which is mostly the shoes.

This sounds awesome dude. Taking it slow is a great move - really helps to prevent injuries. Once you get to 5k, I think you'll find the hurdle to 10k is lower than the initial hurdle of 5.

It must have been all that. I'm sure I bought something while there. It was only done one year so maybe they didn't make enough money.

I'd go to full day festivals for $30. Seriously. One year, I went to ozzfest and it was free! That year they dubbed it "freefest". This isn't even that long ago, I'm talking 15-20 years ago I was able to do this.

They try, but nowadays you can have your new carrier buy you out!

I agree. However there are some gems. Got one good piece of advice from https://lemmy.world/u/BombOmOm and now I'm on the Linux train (at least on one laptop anyway).

Tolkien was surely influenced by his religion. We know this. How can a writer not be influenced by their belief system and surroundings? All this is true and it's not allegory. It's fantasy/faerie.

The best way I've heard it explained is that excel is too good at doing too many, but it isn't the correct tool for many of those things. Since it's good and accessible, people make it work and then you get this jumbled mess of stuff after time passes.

I do like the control aspect. I also really enjoy how clean it feels compared to windows.

If it works well (and I mean very well), I will consider doing the same on my main machine. The one the family uses. Maybe just set it up so I boot both windows and Linux... Either way. Very happy with the results so far.

Back to this comment to report that I took the dive. I have a second laptop that wasn't getting used so I wiped it and installed Linux mint. Love it so far and no issues with any of the basics. Took me all of 1 hr to get up and running.

Maybe. I use Settings for quick things like Bluetooth pairing, changing monitor settings, etc. I do use Control Panel a decent amount and would never want it deprecated though.
