Thanks! Hopefully it will look even better once it's done lol

I've made a few of them so far and haven't had any issues other than the sensor is a little over sensitive at times. It's possible that you could have gotten a bad one though as I've noticed the quality on these models kind of varies from one to another lol
This one is taking a little while to come together but it's finally starting to look like something lol

Looks like it's just for an extension cord. They probably make a fancy proprietary Black & Decker one for this but any regular cord that will fit should work fine

Imagine driving around in such a ridiculous vehicle... I hope he doesn't drive his kids to school in that thing lol
I feel sorry for anyone whose entire personality requires being hateful 24 hours a day like that. It must be tiring to stay mad all the time

Is it going to be an autumn scene? I think I'm seeing a tree with orange leaves and maybe a bridge?
My Prince pattern is starting to look like something recognizable finally lol

If you just read the red highlighted letters it says "POO-AR!!"

Could you give more details about what you mean by "homemade internet"? The first thing I thought of was just a LAN or Intranet which I see many people have already suggested but I feel like that may not be what you're actually talking about

There are Waffle House locations that aren't 24 hour??? Why? Like 3/4s of their business is long haul truckers isn't it?

My favorite YouTuber made a whole video about this!

For anyone who has never heard of this, The Waffle House Index is a real thing used to gauge the severity of weather events!

I honestly haven't seen a lot of his movies. He's doing an amazing job with Penguin so far though!

So even when an incel hits their personal jackpot and gets to bang a Japanese woman they're still just miserable pricks lol
Guess you can't blame women or your virginity now Anon lol

Why does it exist? I'm guessing because someone somewhere has prairie dogs in their yard and wants to get rid of them?

It's definitely a learning experience lol I'm finding this pattern has a lot more random single color stitches than ones I get from Etsy but otherwise it's been really fun to work on something I got to design myself!

I watched all of them and it did get somewhat better here and there. The high points were just good enough that I still wanted to see what happened but there was just so much pointless junk that even the big cliffhanger ending didn't really thrill me... I'd honestly be fine if they just told me how the story ends in an email or something lol
They're also comparing the ratings of a single episode of Penguin to the entire first season of The Acolyte
I can't call this one *fully* original because I did use the [Bing Image Creator ](https://www.bing.com/images/create)AI website to generate the initial artwork. After generating the image I converted it into a pattern on [Floss Cross](https://flosscross.com/) If you hadn't already guessed, this is a Prince pattern! I'm making it as a custom piece for a friend, but it's also a good chance to test out a homemade pattern before I try a bigger *completely original* pattern after this!
I just got permanently banned from a community for making a single harmless remark on a single post that was right there in the main feed. It's not a community I'm super active in so it's not like devastating, but it is annoying If your precious little community is full of so many delicate sensitive people who can't even be reminded that another viewpoint *even exists*, then you should really protect them by defederating and having everyone join your private website The mod has literally removed like 75% of the comments and banned everyone lol I don't know about anyone else, but I don't have time to read every rule for every community that pops up when I'm in view all
What's everyone else working on today?
The VCR in the bottom still works great too! I'm a total noob to this as I've only ever set up emulators on a regular computer. How difficult is it to set up something like a RetroPi? Or is there a better option? ![](https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/8e6be89f-aa7e-4073-8d13-6df46b1b4684.jpeg)
This one is designed in such a way that the wiring was all done at the beginning, so that top part is constantly having to be balanced on something or otherwise carefully tucked away until it's finally set in place on literally the last page of instructions! It's still a really fun model, I just wish they had set it up for the wiring to be done closer to the end like the other ones I've built
It's a little blurry because this was taken from the car but I still thought it was worth sharing!

I just finished one commission that I realized I severely undercharged for once I started it, now I have a few other people asking me to make more pieces! I looked up some info online about setting prices, but I'm honestly never sure how many hours a cross stitch is going to take me to finish, and the other method they recommended was charging by the number of stitches, but that seems like it ends up making things more expensive than people would be willing to pay... Does anyone else have an easy pricing structure they use? Is [@thegiddystitcher@lemm.ee](https://lemm.ee/u/thegiddystitcher) still on here? I feel like she might have some experience with this lol
Now that I finished my commission piece I'm back to my Spirited Away cross stitch! Just finishing the last parts of section 5 of 6 so hopefully this one will be done soon! What are you guys working on today?
I just finished this and posted on the cross stitch community, but I thought you guys might like it too!
