Since there has been a shake-up in mods, we will finally be going back to featuring the Photo of the Week! It'll be a fun way of featuring the photo with the most likes at the end of the week. Rules: -In order for your photo to be considered for Photo of the Week it **MUST** be OC only (Original Content). -On Fridays, the most upvoted original, marked [OC], photo posted between Friday and Thursday will be the next week’s featured photo. -The weekly photos will be saved for an end of the year run off where the Photo of the Year will be displayed as our community banner. Submissions will begin this Friday, July 26th, 2024 and the first winner will be announced on August 2nd, 2024, and we will go from there. Good luck and have fun. Any question feel free to reach out! The crushed bodies of a Central and South American insect, called the Cochineal, produces a natural red dye. They are used for textiles, food-coloring, and cosmetics. Next time you see an ingredients list that includes carmine, cochineal extract or natural red 4, it comes from these bugs.

Somewhere in Kowloon but I don't remember where. It was raining and there were people going by, so I became impatient and wasn't able to get a well-aligned and centered picture.

I went to review photos I made of the moon at night and realised I photographed it in the morning as well. So I made a little edit!

took two images with different exposure, overlayed them in gimp and used a mask to bring the cloud reflections from the darker shot into the lighter image of the island, no further editing
