Let's not forget that Europeans likely were not knowing California in the 16th century but knew Japan (from travel in the other direction).

It kind of makes sense on many BIOS/UEFI-less systems where e.g. Uboot is used. And it does contain things like kernel images, sometimes initRD files etc. (which may not be bootloader files but are still system boot files).

I see. BTW, I never figured out the details either, but wanted to bring matters up anyway in case it still would be considered useful.

It did when it was still called Calckey, but around the time of the rebranding their main server got into issues (Kainoa, the previous maintainer, was messing around with it to improve performance but that just broke things).

Did the Misskey network not advise against e.g. EU people signing up because of legal reasons like GPDR? Anyway, Iceshrimp works very much as intended and has active development so that could be an alternative for some people (have no experience with Sharkey).

In size, I think they are in the top 6 overall, and top 3 for any non-general Lemmy instance.

I clicked "report". This community is actively moderated, so that should settle the matter soon enough.

Almost all sex topics are on the LemmyNSFW instance. Your account should be able to "see" those. There won't be dating though, because I suppose the admins do not want to be seen as liable when a date goes horribly wrong or so.

I mean, your screenshot looks a bit different graphically, and the second tile in the pic from OP looks different in e.g. the roads. Also, the second tile in OP looks a how I remember 3000 to look. For further reference, please check this section of an LGR video on 3000.

Waterways tend to end up in seas and oceans though. However, I kind of see your point.

The second tile is indeed SC 2000. more likely 3000 (with the third tile being 4?).

When I see EVs (southern Netherlands) they are mostly model S or non-Teslas from mostly VW. Autonomous vehicles aren't even allowed here AFAIK.
Edit: I am agreeing with you, for clarity's sake.

Kids of that age would more-or-less walk while sitting on these. The pedaling comes after balance training (unlike how my generation used tricycles at the same age).

There is a (new) community without mods: https://lemmings.world/c/investiranje There may be more but I haven't looked. I doubt that the admin wants their instance to be filled up with *modless* communities that do not contain any posts. I therefore suggest that for new communities to be made, people may have to get explicit approval from an admin. Or as an alternative, perhaps remove c's that have been moderator-less for a certain time?
