“Fake News. 60 Minutes begged for an interview, even after they were caught lying about Hunter Biden’s laptop back in 2020. There were initial discussions, but nothing was ever scheduled or locked in,” Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said.

“They insisted on cutting out of the interview to do fact-checking,” Cheung added.

lol looks like the campaign knew he couldn’t help but lie and he’d be made to look like a fool.

Vance is a soulless douche nozzle, but he’s a trained lawyer. I think he’ll hold his own just fine. I don’t think he’ll “beat” Waltz, but he’s probably not going to foam at the mouth over crowd sizes and pets being eaten.

In the end, does a VP debate matter?

I mean innocent until proven guilty and such, but this guy has always been a dope and should never have been elected. I still think Katherine Garcia would have been a better pick.

It’ll be interesting to see what clown the GOP runs against him this time. They could possibly have a decent chance (remember, NYC GOP is generally much more moderate than national level) but it’ll inevitably be some idiot who’s never done anything.

I wonder if he gets a primary challenger.

Also, if NYC were a country, it would be ranked 13th in GDP globally and THESE are the people we get to choose from to run it.

Why not just make the filibuster what it used to be and require the people who want to wield it to hold the floor for hours upon hours with no break? Some of it was silly. Some of it heroic. Either way, it required someone to truly be willing to stand behind their beliefs and, thus, was used much less often.

I think it’s reasonable to say he might still be guilty. The victim’s personal items were found in his car, after all.

However, there’s doubt and execution leaves no room for doubt. The fact that they’re willing to murder a man whose guilt/innocence is in question is unconscionable.

  • Homeland Security Admits It Tried to Manufacture Fake Terrorists for Trump
  • Veedem Veedem Now 100%

The headline is absolutely NOT overstating things.

From page 64 of the actual report:

    1. Politicization of Intelligence Products. This investigation revealed no evidence of politicization (roughly "write this analysis this way to support this political assertion") 467 by anyone in the I&A chain of command or DHS Secretary's office. However, Mr. Murphy did make other attempts to controvert the collection-analysis process. Particularly illuminative was the promulgation of the term "Violent Antifa Anarchists Inspired" (VAAI).

As discussed by several intelligence analysts, to understand the genesis for VAAl, one must take the events of the summer into context. In many conversations, Mr. Murphy stated that the violent protesters in Portland were connected to or motivated by ANTIFA. This may have made sense to Mr. Murphy based on his own beliefs, but 1&A did not have collections (evidence) to show it and absent reporting or some other evidence on motivation, 1&A analysts could not ascribe motivation to the violent actors as Mr. Murphy expected. Mr. Murphy would tell the analysts to cite to existing OSIRs as evidence of the motivation, but the OSIRs did not draw a connection to ANTIFA. For weeks, the analysts had been telling Mr. Murphy that because ANTIF A was not in the collection, it could not be put into the analysis. Notwithstanding this feedback from the I&A analysts, on July 25, 2020, Mr. Murphy sent an email to his senior leadership instructing them that henceforth, the violent opportunists in Portland were to be reported as VAAI, unless the intel "show[ed] ... something different."468 The analysts stated that "if you lived through the process, you could see where this VAAI definition was coming from a mile away. He got tired of the analysts telling him they did not have the reporting and he was convinced it was ANTIFA so he was going to fix the problem by changing what the collectors were reporting."

This is a pretty big fucking deal considering how much the GOP was crying about ANTIFA.

Long story short, my son plays Minecraft on the iPad and used some gold coins to purchase an add-on (“TNT!”) from the marketplace. Unlike other addons that work fine, this one gives a “Download Failed” error message every time he tries to install it. I can not, for the life of me, figure out where a support option is for Mojang to help resolve the issue or refund the coins. Does anyone here have any suggestions?

Door hinge pin keeps coming up. How to solve?

Looking for help in solving a problem where the lower door hinge pin on my entry door keeps creeping up and causing the deadbolt to become slightly misaligned making it more difficult to lock. Reading online, I keep coming across suggestions of tightening a screw that’s supposed to lock the pin in place but my hinges don’t seem to have that screw. Anyone have any other ideas on how to fix this problem?

I don’t want to post too much and spoil for people who haven’t watched it yet, but I can’t believe the season is already over. The table settling in the final episode is great, but the almost spiteful desire to show this is its own timeline by making some very permanent decisions seems to remove some of the layers of complexity that made the original story line so good.

I don't want to put any details before more people have seen it, but this is an episode that started to really paint the picture of what we should expect going forward. Ton of action and some unexpected character deaths really created the feeling of actual stakes. I'll put some other opinions in the following spoilers: ::: spoiler The absence of the spartan armor felt like a budgetary play more than anything else. Like they wanted to spend the money on the Covenant CGI and had to cut from somewhere else. ::: ::: spoiler Unless they decide to stray from the games completely, I don't believe that Keyes is dead. They do a good job of only assuming his death and not showing it. Vannack's death shocked me. I believe his character is exclusive to the Silver timeline, but still made me gasp :::

What’s everyone thinking so far? Sangheili CGI looks way better though Spartan animation seems to have taken a hit. Active camo makes the Sangheili seem way more terrifying. Story seems more interesting especially knowing we’re heading in to the Fall of Reach. I appreciate the story starting to dive into the divide between ONI and UNSC. Hopefully the rest of the season stays strong.

First of all, just wanted to say thank you. I’ve come over from a different app that I paid for and then it has been, mostly, abandoned. I appreciate the feature set and thought put into Arctic and have donated a bit through the BuyMeACoffee link. One suggestion/wish: Can you please change the “< Subscriptions” button to something like a hamburger menu icon instead? Here’s my thought process: The current button points backwards which, generally, acts as a navigation to the previous screen one was on. However, in this case, starting on the chosen default tab, there’s nothing really to go back to, yet. Turning this into a menu button gives a better indication of its function and looks more aesthetically pleasing (IMO) Either way, thanks for the great app and I look forward to your work in the future
