I feel uneasy that he’s promoting Lemmy given his iffy politics. Lemmy, Kbin, etc… will die like Gab if they get flooded with 4channers and Redpillers.

I personally don’t care. It’s reliable enough that the low prices make up for the times when you get shafted.

This is why I can’t play games that are too interesting anymore.

I'm giving the June season of reality a 1-star review for stringing us along on this anti-climactic event.

I'm shocked at how many users there are on kbin/lemmy and how explorable it all is. Though there are fewer users, it's way friendlier and less circlejerky than almost every Reddit community I've explored. Plus, unlike Mastodon, it's been incredibly easy to see other magazines or even other servers on my frontpage, search for them, and join them. I honestly wish the Fediverse doesn't become mainstream, just so that this sort of community can be preserved.
Apologies if this is a basic question, but I am curious to know what I am missing out on by not having access to private torrents? I have been able to find everything I wanted using public ones.

Reddit has been getting worse over the past couple years, to the point that I've stopped browsing Reddit's front page altogether. Since Lemmy is scratching my forum itch just fine, I see no reason to go back except for the handful of my favorite communities which haven't migrated yet, and I see no reason to ever give them money again in the form of ads, Reddit Premium, awards, or my data from their mobile app. I don't really care what happens to Reddit anymore.

I've always used a case and screen protector, but I try to shell out for nicer cases. I've seen that the cheaper ones do nothing to protect the phone.
