if youre referring to the nightman; i would argue that they put on a musical within the show. the episode itself was not a musical.
the other episode that is a musical is not one i particularly enjoy

have to agree. i was kinda looking forward to it.. but a musical? gad. no. the worst episodes of my favorite shows are when they thought it would be cute to make them musicals.

they left it to 'congress' to decide what is and isnt an official act. so, congress being run by a bunch of conservative morons would indict biden but let trump walk for the exact same behaviors.

no, sorry. we shouldnt lament jobs replaced by automation/easier to use systems. we should be pissed that billionares like the waltons arent taxed at 100%, and that their lowest paid employee makes thousand of times less than the management.
otehrwise youre just a buggy-whip maker shouting into the darkness

it was always a lie about 'legal immigrants'. theyve spent 70 years making it practically impossible to become a legal immigrant. because racism.

this is a great point, i do find a lot of cringe-y moments in the cosby show because he is physically present

What sucks about that is a lot of lesser known actors probably rely on the residuals more than cosby.

ha yeah, i assume this is the bbq sauce thing. scary
I really liked 'the cosby show'. it was a significant change in the demonstration of a successful, minority family. its funny. it also holds up well; the writing did not date itself _too_ much to the era. but, ya know... Cosby. can you separate the artist from the art? a part of me feels like i should still be able to enjoy the show even though he is a terrible person. thoughts?

im kinda stuck with a windows workstation for work also, for the exact same reasons. ive used the discrepancy in environments to completely air-gap my home and work life. linux for all things personal, and windows for the BS at the office... never the twain shall meet
notepad++ really bothers me.. if theres one freakin app that linux should have a mastery of its text editing... and yet.
e. for the vim/emacs/nano peeps: no. just no. its not me who is wrong here because i dont want to learn 400 obscure keystrokes among other nonsense. we dont need to hear about your text editing stockholm-syndrome.

the format of displaying the murder even before the credits. the quirkiness.. almost feigned ignorance. that said it is different enough to be unique. the character is much more charismatic.. theres all that backstory included with the murder-of-the-week. comedy is up a notch. im only half way through the season, but its kinda great!
