Of course, not in a "we should generate and spread racist content" kind of way. But sometimes results are a caricature of all the stuff AI has ingested, so if its output is obviously biased, it might be a good indicator of particular ways people tend to be biased. For example, if all of the AI-generated images for "doctor" are men, it's pretty clear the source content is biased to indicate that doctors are/should be men. It would be a lot harder to look up all of the internet's images of "doctor" to check for bias. There are probably a lot more nuanced cases where AI-generated content can make bias more apparent.

The bumper...I don't know what it's called...that little clip with the snow that fades in and reveals the logo. It's terrible. For one, a lot of people actually don't know what TV static is. Analog broadcasts stopped almost 16 years ago, and before that, most younger people had cable. For another, static is really difficult to compress. It looks *horrible* and consumes way too much bandwidth for just a couple of seconds that won't even load right. If anything, they should cache a local copy of the bumper in-app in a format that doesn't look like ass when every pixel changes every frame.

Playing the lotery is a good analogy to the Schroedinger cat experiment. That is, as long as you don't check the numbers

One way to breathe a new life into multiplayer shooters could be removing any guns from healers. Make them potent, but vulnerable! Why is it important: * Players that don't like shooting, but love teamwork would finally be represented (yes, I'm speaking of your girlfriend!) * Having to protect healers would benefit more organized teams, rewarding teamwork * Healers would have a more dynamic gameplay revolving around avoiding damage: stealthy movement, ability to quickly traverse dangerous zones, coordination with fellow teammates are all required to benefit your team as a healer What might need to be tweaked: * Healers should be made into the only revivors, and we should either punish death more (which we'd better be careful of if that's a dynamic game) or give buffs on revival * Healers should get more movement abilities to increase survivability. They may also get speed boost when running towards teammates (similar to Conduit Savior's Speed in Apex Legends) * Team compositions should accommodate for several healers as to not introduce a single point of failure Overall, I think it could introduce a new dynamic to team arenas and skirmishes, as winning now requires more coordination within a team and better understanding of everyone's roles.

Every phone call you make with just the mic near your mouth and the speaker near your ear, you are whispering into the ear of the person you are calling. If the person who answers with the mic near their mouth and the speaker near their ear is doing the same thing. It's like having a conversational 69 where both of you are placing your mouths next to each other's ears. It sounds sexual and sensual if you are talking to someone you might be interested in ... but it gets a bit awkward if you imagine doing this with a random stranger you would never usually want to get close to.

Beep boop. I am robot.. beep boop I have no emotion. ITT: the 30 some odd people who that have transcended human desire. I really can't tell. Did I flush the trump supporters out with this post? Are people so offended that a beautiful person could be a NAZI? Or am I just too blunt and to admit I don't go around imagining everyone is morally upright really makes people uncomfortable. Aka I'm an ass. Let me know cause I've said some dumb shit but this one hit a nerve. Interesting article https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2019/12/07/opinion/andre-aciman-why-is-beauty-important.html

Like why do I feel like I’m supposed to be able to name the seven boroughs? I can’t tell you anything about L.A., Chicago, Boston, etc. Edit: to clarify: I mean that everyone in America are expected to know NYC. Not just New Yorkers. Obviously everyone should know the layout of where they live.

-Easier birth control: Make the egg into an omelette -Relaxed child support laws: Requires deliberate decision to incubate the egg -Clean packaged periods: Egg = No mess! Although, there would be stories about partners hiding fertilized eggs: Instead of unplanned parenthood we would have unconsensual parenthood There's probably more nuances I am missing. But do discuss it in the comments.

The *Planet of the Apes* film franchise has single-handedly shaped entire fields of biological research. As long as it remains in the public consciousness, no biologist or geneticist will ever experiment with trying to engineer chimps and other apes to be more intelligent. Any research proposal remotely related to the topic will be immediately shot down by someone simply stating, "do you want *Planet of the Apes?* Because this is how you get *Planet of the Apes!*"

If we knew how to create world simulation, and how to make it working 4D, then humans would be able to plug themselves in, and experience 4D space. Alternatively there could simulated 4D beings, whose sentience could be transferred to robot body in our real 3D space.

Seriously, I doubt it would even take that long. We get used to shit so quickly, and the news cycles have to keep feeding us new things, the only way we'd keep talking about the aliens if they kept doing new and interesting things. I'd be willing to bet a year later there would be some people who straight up forgot about it. "Oh yeah, aliens! Are they gonna, like, visit at some point or just keep exchanging calls with the Whitehouse?"
