come July 1st, i think you'll find a lot of people making that final push to come over here, try to figure out what the fediverse is, and moderate (or create from whole cloth) the communities they used to have. i certainly don't have the time nor expertise to moderate any community, but i know lots of folks will come over here. July is gonna be huge.

what are your mixed feelings? truly, what do you think is the positive of meta getting involved?
not sure if I'm even doing this right, but I'm trying to find more subscriptions. how do i search my own instance for communities to join? how do i look outside of my instance for communities to join? i feel like i knew how once, but now I'm lost. i use jerboa, if that helps? TIA.

so you're saying that even if a post started on a specific instance (like beehaw, for example), and then got deleted from the main source, other instances would still be able to see it? kind of like the light from a supernova reaching us a million light years away?
