Is there really any logical reason why one voter should be allowed to block the entire process like that? The whole filibuster concept is the strangest part of US politics to me.

I think Flowers For Algernon by Daniel Keyes fits the bill. Not too long and has punched everybody I've recommended it to in the guts.

Maybe there is some big banana that wants to make our banana opening lives impractical?

We have both kinds in playgrounds around my house here in Norway. My kids like both, but the ones from the OP is vastly preferred. They get a lot more Gs in the one with the bars.

I see. Weird that our so similar languages differ like this. But our counting systems are also vastly different, so maybe it isn't so weird anyway?
Sometimes we can have the entrance in a basement which would then be denoted as the basement and not the first floor. I guess the basement example is when what the british names ground floor is partially underground. In all other cases our first floor is where the main entrance is.

The band Vulfpeck made a silent album named sleepify and asked their fans to stream it while not listening to other music. Made enough money to fund a tour. Spotify change their terms because of it i believe.

Why is that?
I might be based coming from Norway where we have a very well regulated system with unions on both sides of the table. But I don't see our unions as something easily corruptable at all.

If it is an actual reference it is either incredibly obscure or I have missed something and would like to know what it references.
Either way I know what to listen to the next couple of days.

Check out the servarr stack + jellyseerr for your sailing activities. It is very nice to have one ui to search in then everything is sorted and just appears in jellyfin when it is ready! I set it up on a home server running TrueNAS recently. The only thing i might have done differently is run proxmox as os and set up a TrueNAS as a VM for my storage needs instead.

Do you by any chance use AppleTV to watch jellyfin media? If so what app do you use? I couldn't get the only jellyfin app I was able to find to install for some reason.

My first games were Alley Cat and Paratrooper. We also had Leisure Suit Larry. I was navigating in dos at age three to start them. I didn't know how to read or write and I didn't know English was a language I was later going to learn from games and cartoons yet. I played Larry more and more as I grew up, but I never really understood any of the raunchy stuff until many years later.
I have bought my first proper home server and am setting up a full stack of media services on truenas scale after years of doing everything manually. In that regard I have set up jellyfin, sabnzbd and radarr, and the next step is to add jellyserr it seems. But then I stumble across prowlarr and cannot figure out if it is a contender to or a supplement to jellyserr. Can somebody tell me what the difference is, if I should use both if they are complementing each other or which you are using if they are competing?
I'm not sure if this is a feature request or bug report. But I wish it was possible to mark replies as read so that only new replies shows up. And so that the notification disappears if there are no new replies. Preferably I wish they were marked as read as soon as i interact with them in any way. (Vote, click or reply) I am using Memmy for Lemmy 0.5.1 on a fully updated iPhone 13.
