Same here. Diptic is wonderful.

That looks great and such a clever idea with the loop!
As for the ruler, maybe you could make a cutout from a piece of cardboard of the same thickness that the ruler fits into so that the page is flat for writing?

This could be me. I first really fell in love in my thirties. Before that I had book boyfriends. Characters who I related to because of how they were written.
I didn’t know what aromantic/asexual was at the time, but they both fit me. I’m now married to a man who is my best friend and who accepts me as I am.
And being aro/ace doesn’t mean that I don’t have feelings. I do. I just have no idea whatsoever on how to express them and still feel like me, I guess?

oh my gosh, this was one of the most exciting finals of the past years.

This will be a slow ride until the last 10k! I bet evenepoel is going for that one too 😂

I love that JV was finally riding to keep Kuss in red!

I think this one is for the people who are still in the breakaway after the San Lorenzo. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Evenepoel take this one.

I’m right there with you. If I were Kuss, I would sign for another team because at JV he will always be just a domestique, apparently. That’s what Jonas and Primos told him today with their actions. They could have worked for him as he has worked for them so so often.
And then Jonas said in an interview that he hoped Kuss would win the Vuelta. Actions speak louder than words, dude!

Not surprised by it. He’s in the depiction of the phrase: let’s try again tomorrow. Such mental strength for one so young!

Team Sky came close when they had Wiggins and Froome, but in the end Wiggins was top. A predecessor of JV once named Mollema, ten Dam and… Gesink? as their GC guys. They did a n interview about it and it was so awkward

It will be interesting to see what JV will do. They can’t expect Kuss to play the supporting role while he’s that much ahead, no?
I think that Evenepoel will go for a breakaway if he has the legs today. He’s so much behind now…
Beforehand, I picked today for Wout Poels in the vuelta game I do, no real reason other than he likes tough stages and I want a Dutch win.

What a race! Will post more tomorrow to avoid spoilers. Such a wonderful and emotional post race interview.
There is a place for graphically gorgeous distro’s, but when it comes to ease and speed, Xfce is just the best for me. I started using Xfce when Xubuntu first came out and I switched to Linux Mint Xfce when that started. I did try other distro’s when others recommended them, but always switched back to Xfce. I have an old Eeepc that runs so smoothly on the latest Mint Xfce despite being a senior in computer years. And that’s why it was about time I gushed about Xfce on here 😀

And as this post sorely misses classic romcom:
- I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her
- Don't you love New York in the fall? It makes me wanna buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address. On the other hand, this not knowing has its charms.
- peeeeeecaaaaaaaaaan piiiiiiieeeeeee

Me neither! And I mean it’s a world tour race! I’ve seen continental races that were better organised than this.
It’s amazing that there were not that many injuries because everyone had to adjust the speed.
Favourites are so far behind because of this too. And I know that there will be stages to catch up but it’s not a fair race this way.

Evenepoel was rightfully angry. I can’t imagine what it must have been like for the teams, barely able to see where they were going!

Came here to answer PTerry too. I cherish his books (going to re-read them all again soon). I love the way he gave the fantasy genre an unadulterated joy. His books are the only ones that can make me cry with laughter, even on trains where I try to behave 😀 Also, he’s the only author who made me want to read footnotes 😂
The world got a little darker when he died.

I'm having a quiet recovery day instead of a day at a barbecue with family. I hate that this latest bug is soooo difficult to get rid of.

Xfce is just amazing. I’ve used it for many years, starting with Xubuntu I think and it’s my go to Linux version. So minimal and functional.

I’m a pen to paper gal, but also keep a Daylio journal as a health tracker.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the TDFF this week! Such a foggy Tourmalet. Will write more later, don’t want to spoil anything yet. Final stage tomorrow, a time trial!
I took this picture two weeks ago, from a car driving past, with an old lumix tz-10
My husband put several Monstera Adansonii stem cuttings in a box on some perlite and they are growing so fast! Our home will be full of monkey mask plants soon 😊
