It sorta is but also watch Star Trek. It seem scary from. The outlook but really it's just got a lot of episodes. Most of trek is just fun little one offs and sometimes it really really broad arcs where it's just kinds bits and pieces from plots of the week aggregate or say ds9 it goes kinda early serialized show where there is a long story for the whole series but only in comparison to how episodic the others were. Really ds9 is the only one you can't watch out of order. It's not that hard to get into. The big problem is the starting points are all kinda weak. Like it's either start with tos which is pretty solid but it's a TV shoe from.the 60s and must be seen as such or tng which is closer to the 'normal' version of trek later spinoffs would adhere to but the first couple seasons are pretty rough and the impact of that rough is lessened by hsging seen the 60s show. We talk a decent amount on here and I'd recommend for you to start at the start. It's generally just a fun time in a cool communist space future but episode by episode you get pretty ugh every genre although it'd in a Sci fi setting.

They should make the mist massive crossover fighting game ever just called A Fighting Game and it would not only have every character but all the major styles of fighting games are different modes in that game. So you got 2d street fighter style. 3d telken/soul caliber depending on if the character has a weapon style and smash bros platform fighter style. It would take a LOT of dev time to get balance gud for essentially three different games and I encourage that time to be taken, HD space wise it'd barely be bigger than a normal fighting game. Just get Sakurai, the street fighter folks, guilty gear nerds, taken weirdos and alm that and just make the fighting game

Getting an almost complete national geographic collection from my grandma's house at some point (they were my granpa'a)and it's like every issue from like 1968 to 2005, they're all in great shape and holy fuck I'm stoked to have em, but I'm gonna need to build some shelves. Some really really strong shelves. I can throw together a book case no problem but this is gonna need to be thicc and also like 4 of em. Building bookshelves is fun and easy as hell but this thing is gonna be heavy and chunky, I gotta be able to move it into my apartment as well and eventually so I'm thinking of measuring out a decade of magazines and doing sort of a 'box' for each decade that I can make real sturdy and then I can make a really sturdy frame and kinda set them in like drawers

Whoever designed the logo for the Niners in the baseball episode of DS9 should get an award for design work. I'm guessing it was Michael Okuda since he was the art director. But like, dang, super clever idea.

Just skipped an ad that started with some mma guy saying "being a champion isn't just about winning fights" before I cut it off and now I'm imagining it like he just discovered non combat sports. "Sometimes it's about paddling a boat faster than some other guys. I jumped out and tried to fight the guys in the other boat and we got disqualified and they hit me with paddles. Sometimes it's about making a ball go to the right place the right amount of times. I can say for sure mixed figure skating didn't go well for me, lot of egg on my face after that."

London Calling is just a string of amazing songs but I really really think this one is overlooked. It's an entire Scorsese movie in 4 minutes and that piano/guitar main riff and how it changes between the beginning and ending literally makes me cry every time. It's the best chord progression ever and Elton John fucking wishes he wrote this as much as I also like Elton John. There's a solitary man crying, "Hold me." It's only because he's a-lonely If the keeper of time runs slowly He won't be alive for long! If he only had time to tell of all of the things he planned With a card up his sleeve, what would he achieve? It means nothing! To the opium den and the barroom gin In the Belmont chair playing violins The gambler's face cracks into a grin As he lays down the king of spades But the dealer just stares There's something wrong here, he thinks The gambler is seized and forced to his knees And shot dead He only wanted more time Away from the darkest door But his luck it gave in As the dawn light crept in And he lay on the floor From the Hundred Year War to the Crimea With a lance and a musket and a Roman spear To all of the men who have stood with no fear In the service of the King Before you met your fate be sure you Did not forsake your lover May not be around anymore
