PS4 emulator, shadPS4, just released version 0.3.0

Right? I'm surprised, too. I think the main reason they're able to make so much progress because one of the main devs worked on either PCSX2 or RPCS3 so they already have experienced people on it.
But I think it's also because of the PS4's x86 architecture which makes it much easier to program for. Which also means it's much easier to emulate.
But that's just speculation on my end.

I've been repeatedly disappointed with most modern games, so I've taken to emulating my old games and playing them on my laptop. It's honestly a pretty good time, would recommend.
I'm getting to play games I loved that I haven't touched in over a decade (MotorStorm, all the Ratchet and Clank games, the good Need for Speeds, etc). Plus if there were any games I wanted as a kid but didn't have the money, I can buy most of them off eBay for cheap.

I am just barely ahead of you at 4 weeks and I noticed something similar with me. I'm very similar dimensions; at my lightest I was about 57 kg and 176 cm.
Once I started taking E, I was hungrier longer and it took more to satiate me. Now I'm around 60-62 kg, which is where I've been in the past, so I don't look all that different.
I noticed my legs feel a little squishier than I remember. But that could just be me looking for things that aren't there. I think it also moved some fat around in my face as my cheeks feel a little thicker/puffier than before. It's taking some getting used to.

I recently jailbroke my Wii and ripped all my current games, so this is surprisingly relatable to me right now.
I also got a low firmware PS4 to jailbreak so I can rip those in preparation for ShadPS4, an up and coming PS4 emulator. Bloodborne is running on it now, though it's still far from playable.

I am in this picture. I excelled in school almost all years and graduated in the top ten of my high school class. Then I went to an engineering school and got my ass handed to me. I managed to graduate after 5 years, but it was a struggle and my GPA was noticeably worse than high school.

Your collection of toy cars reminded me that I loved Hot Wheels as a kid in the '90s and early '00s. And I would often have to get more whenever we went to the store. Or at the very least see what they had. Luckily they were cheap so my parents were ok getting 1 or 2 each time.
I was also really good at remembering what ones I already had, so I knew at the store what ones I didn't have.
It's been a long time since I counted, but I amassed over 300 cars by the time I grew out of them.

Check out the emulator ShadPS4. It still needs more time to cook, but it's making great progress on getting Bloodborne to work on pc. It's good enough that I bought a jailbreakable PS4 so I can rip my copy of Bloodborne and other games. Just waiting for it to arrive.

  • What Is ECU Remapping? Everything You Need To Know
  • Pirky Pirky Now 100%

It's a Ford Taurus, so the engine is pretty common since they put it in just about everything: Taurus, Edge, Flex, Exploder, etc. They also have a bored version that's 3.7L. Those were in the F-150, Mustang, and some Lincoln vehicles.
So this tuning info could be useful to a wide range of people.

I forgot to mention that the tune uses regular 87 octane. No need for premium to hit those numbers.

  • What Is ECU Remapping? Everything You Need To Know
  • Pirky Pirky Now 100%

I had my car dyno'd and tuned back in February. It has a naturally aspirated 3.5L V6. The tune bumped peak crank HP from 288 to 306 and torque from 254 lb-ft to 278, which is on par with the 3.7L variant of my engine.
While the peaks only gained 6 and 9%, respectively, other areas saw even bigger gains. For example, below 4000 rpm most of the power band gained 15-20 lb-ft over stock. And above 4500 rpm, the torque continues to rise rather than plateau which I've noticed in hard accelerations.
Another interesting thing is how much smoother the power band is compared to stock.
This was a bit pricey, though, and I see why most people don't do this often. All told, it was about $2500 to do: Pre-Dyno inspection, HP Tuners ECU, set of step colder spark plugs, putting it on the dyno, etc. Honestly, would do again and would like to do in the future.

  • Aluminum
  • Pirky Pirky Now 100%

Titanium is awesome, though. Has similar corrosion properties to aluminum (in that it only oxidizes on the surface), is similar in strength to iron/steel, but is only about 60% of the weight iron. So it's lighter.
Plus if you mix in molybdenum and I think some nickel, you can have yourself a very long lasting spring that won't sag like steel springs after several years.
Main downside is it's so expensive compared to iron :(

From the link: "There were a series of accusations about our company last August from a former employee. Immediately following these accusations, LMG hired Roper Greyell - a large Vancouver-based law firm specializing in labor and employment law, to conduct a third-party investigation. Their website describes them as “one of the largest employment and labour law firms in Western Canada.” They work with both private and public sector employers. To ensure a fair investigation, LMG did not comment or publicly release any data and asked our team members to do the same. Now that the investigation is complete, we’re able to provide a summary of the findings. The investigation found that: - Claims of bullying and harassment were not substantiated. - Allegations that sexual harassment were ignored or not addressed were false. - Any concerns that were raised were investigated. Furthermore, from reviewing our history, the investigator is confident that if any other concerns had been raised, we would have investigated them. - There was no evidence of “abuse of power” or retaliation. The individual involved may not have agreed with our decisions or performance feedback, but our actions were for legitimate work-related purposes, and our business reasons were valid. - Allegations of process errors and miscommunication while onboarding this individual were partially substantiated, but the investigator found ample documentary evidence of LMG working to rectify the errors and the individual being treated generously and respectfully. When they had questions, they were responded to and addressed. In summary, as confirmed by the investigation, the allegations made against the team were largely unfounded, misleading, and unfair. With all of that said, in the spirit of ongoing improvement, the investigator shared their general recommendation that fast-growing workplaces should invest in continuing professional development. The investigator encouraged us to provide further training to our team about how to raise concerns to reinforce our existing workplace policies. Prior to receiving this report, LMG solicited anonymous feedback from the team in an effort to ensure there was no unreported bullying and harassment and hosted a training session which reiterated our workplace policies and reinforced our reporting structure. LMG will continue to assess ongoing continuing education for our team. At this time, we feel our case for a defamation suit would be very strong; however, our deepest wish is to simply put all of this behind us. We hope that will be the case, given the investigator’s clear findings that the allegations made online were misrepresentations of what actually occurred. We will continue to assess if there is persistent reputational damage or further defamation. This doesn’t mean our company is perfect and our journey is over. We are continuously learning and trying to do better. Thank you all for being part of our community." -LTT

This song goes harder than it has any right to and I feel more people should be aware of it. And the few people who did get to hear in game only heard the first 60-90 seconds before the level ended.

Context: I have a Ford Taurus AWD with a naturally aspirated 3.5L V6 (288 hp & 254 lb-ft, stock). It had reached the point in life where it's old enough that I'm ok tinkering with it, but new enough that it's still worth tinkering. There was also zero info about tuning this engine and I wanted to fix that. So I brought it to a dyno. I went with an HP Tuners ECU. The only other "mod" to my car was a set of one-step colder spark plugs; everything else is stock. Edit: I also stuck with 87 octane. The shop managed to increase the peak wheel horsepower from **217 hp to 231**; and the torque from **203 lb-ft to 222**. Increases of 14 hp and 19 lb-ft, or 6% and 9%, respectively. Assuming the parasitic losses is the same, my new power at the crank is roughly **306 hp** and **278 lb-ft**. Pretty similar to the stock 3.7L that Ford made. But as you can see from the graph, other areas improved even more. Some sections received 20+ lb-ft, and 15+ hp above 5000 rpm. Mileage seems to have improved, too. However I still need to test that more. I've only had this tune for a week now. I haven't done many hard accelerations, but it does feel a little faster when accelerating. Pre-tune, I remember feeling a surge in power around 4000 rpm; I'm glad the dyno proved me right. In terms of feel, the most noticeable difference is in city driving. The engine feels so much more responsive when I start to press on the pedal from a standstill. But not in a jerky, aggressive way (unless I choose to floor it); it's still a very comfortable daily driver. It just "feels" more put together, if that makes sense. Total cost for the dyno and tune was around $1500-2000. Plus any extraneous repairs they required me to do before I could go on the dyno (I.E. I had a leaky transaxle seal that cost $525 to replace). So, I see why not many people choose to get their cars tuned. At the same time, I feel this was worth it for the science. If anyone has any questions, I'll try to answer them as best I can.
