Play BL2. I didn't really bother with 1. BL2 is such a great game, probably sunk more hours into it over the years than any other. Lots of replayability with different characters, TVHM and UVHM, DLCs etc.

Of course I don't think that, it's one of the most natural fucking things in the world. I just think for young children, especially ones who just learned how to talk, there's things they definitely DON'T need to know yet.

Episode is called "A son for a son" ... I think it's fairly obvious we'll be seeing *that* scene in episode 1, or maybe the setup? What do you think?

Hi all, I thought it would be a good idea to do a weekly rewatch (technically starting yesterday Sunday as I'm UK time), and watch one episode of season 1 a week which should lead us nicely up to the new season on 16th June. Feel free to discuss S1E01 here!

Hello anyone who joins this community! I have helped to mod subreddits before and was one of the moderators of the Freefolk sub on reddit quite a few years back. I have a huge passion and love for Asoiaf / Game of Thrones / House of the Dragon and wanted to create this space for fans to come together and share discussion, news, etc. I am all up for letting the members decide what the community should look like, so I am welcoming any and all ideas and feedback. I want to help make this place into what you guys want. Please do post any ideas or thoughts you may have.

Hi, I created this as I couldn't see a Lemmy community for the show. Feel free to post whatever you like. Leaks, pictures, videos, discussions etc.

What websites do you use that makes you feel like you're on the old web?

Hey all. I've not been on here for a while, but had an itch for a specific kind of website. Remember that 2000s feeling of just being online, talking with others, watching flash animations, posting in forums, etc? Now that everything has gone overly corporate and the internet isn't what it once was, I'm wondering if there are still sites out there that any of you use, that give that same feeling. I'm talking about sites you can interact with, whether it be forums, chat sites, etc. I just want that old school internet feel where not everything is bogged down with rules, over moderation etc. But where people have fun, post memes, and have managed to hold on to that old internet culture, if that makes any sense! Basically, i'm looking for a site where the old internet users went and didn't leave.

Hi guys, I want to communicate with people here via chat if possible, and just wondering what people here are using? I want to use a protocol if possible, and definitely not discord or some other software run by a corporation. Obviously IRC was the thing to use back in the day. Do people still use it or something else? I love the fediverse and the idea of getting away from the big tech companies, and am looking for whatever real time chat software is recommended right now. Thanks. Edit: Setup on Matrix, thanks guys! @xero-:matrix.org hit me up if you want!

Someone tried subbing to my community from another instance, and the sub is pending. I have no idea how to accept this. Any ideas?

So basically I created !oldweb here on lemmy.ml. Someone from another lemmy tried to subscribe and it told them the subscription was pending. I'm on mobile currently and can't see anywhere where a request might have come in for me to accept. If its only visible on desktop that's fine, but I'm not too sure if I need to be accepting this or how it works. Any help appreciated!

Really cool to see the number of subscribers here!

So I've just checked and there's 350 subscribers which is just mad to me. Sure the sub isn't really that active, but I can tell the interest in these sorts of old style and personal websites is definitely there! Feel like I haven't posted much for a little while and wanted to make this post to say thanks to everyone who's joined so far and posted some really cool sites. I've kind of just made this community but not really looked into anything further like modding or asking what people actually want. So if anyone has any suggestions or even want to come on board and help out, please let me know!
