Pressuring Israel? How do you imagine that?
Brandon: stop killing people in Gaza, Jack
Yahoo: I think I'll invade Lebanon. Btw thanks for the fresh shipment of billions in weapons, the military support, the surveillance on our behalf, and continuous stream of propaganda to the west. Also, I had a date night with Trump at his house and think he's a hotter zionist than you
Brandon: look... anyway... we beat medicare
Joke aside, despite what they say in front of cameras working "tirelessly for a ceasefire deal", they are actively enabling Israel every step of the way. If the US wanted, this could have been over before it even started.

Israel has perpetuated 80% of the cross-border attacks for the past year, but sure please tell me again how Hezbollah, which was established as a direct result of Israeli aggression, are the ones who should stop. That's insane.

Except Trump is not the one currently in power and can't do much, while Democrats are so I'm scrutinizing them for not doing anything about a genocide while in power. I obviously don't want Trump to win but I hate this idea you have that someone is automatically a Trump supporter for not actively and unconditionally supporting Democrats and condemning non-voters, uncommitted, and third party voters.

I'm glad my cuteness has finally been recognized but my original question was serious and out of curiosity. At the moment the only trolling I'm doing is exclusively for you, my admirer.

Don't be an ass. It may have been a stupid and naive question but don't shit on me just for daring to ask and get other people's thoughts on it.

other people's lives are at stake.
endangering others
Including my own. I'm in Trump's crosshairs. I recognize that reality and actually largely agree with the things you're saying but while my life is at risk, Palestinians are literally getting slaughtered with America's help and while
you might actually get to negotiate for things that make people's lives better.
is true for some things, I don't think the Democratic machine is willing to negotiate on Israel.
I understand harm reduction in general, how insane Trump is, and how useless it is for third parties to pop up every four years saying "vote for us" without doing anything in between presidential elections to move the needle, but when the Dems are supposed to be progressive but aren't and are instead just fascism lite/imperialism full while constantly capitulating to right wing ideas, it's a lot harder to bring myself to even vote at all.
Maybe it's naive and impractical to not vote Harris. Even though my own life is essentially on the ballet, can you understand my position of how frustrating and fucked everything feels and how much it feels like my vote isn't actually a choice at all and makes no difference difference how fast we're diving head first into a future that isn't a future I want to exist in one way or the other?

Is that the voters fault for voting their conscience or the fault of Dems for not adopting progressive policies to earn those people's votes?
Edit: Downvote me all you want, but I'm asking a genuine question.

Democrats have done far more to reason with Republicans this election cycle than they have with third party voters on the left who at least don't want genocide but know that the duopoly is never going to budge on their undying support of Israel. Let alone other actually progressive policies.

Now I'm a communist, have a hammer and sickle, live in China, and my favorite color is red. Death to America comrades! Get fucked libs /s
Seriously though, they're not anymore insane than us. Maybe just a bunch of drunken commies at a bar who don't really bother to distance themselves from the subjects of a century of red scare propaganda. In any case, it's worth keeping an open mind and engaging in good faith.
Though as leftist as I personally am and have become in time, I'm not going to call anyone comrade or start using hammer and sickle imagery except in the context of history lol. Libs can still get fucked though.

What about Google Play Services? A pre-installed Swiss army knife of a system app with proprietary code and apps relying on it as a dependency seems to check the box.

I'm only on the fediverse but I miss algorithms. Recommended accounts (which to be fair exists on a corner of Mastodon), similar accounts to one you just followed, custom home feed, suggested posts, etc. Discoverability sucks on fedi and the lack of interest from devs for some sort of private FOSS implementation is disappointing.
Loops was like let's have a "For You" algo early this year but even that seems to be a dead idea.
Personally, I want nothing to do with them and I'm not willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I moved to the Fediverse to get away from all these corpos.
