There is no "fatigue" with Justin Trudeau.
I strongly disagree and anecdotally the sentiment plays out.
People are pissed off and struggling because of the decisions that their municipal or provincial government make, and then misattribute that pain to the federal government.
You're also ignoring the litany of bullshit the Liberals have fumbled during their time in office as well as the multiple very public scandals around what amounts to a very publicly perceived "not giving a shit about Canadians".
Housing affordability, healthcare, education, traffic congestion, crime, homelessness, childcare, or even snow removal ARE NOT the responsibility of the federal government.
They are everyone's responsibility don't try to pass the buck. The Fed's have an obligation just as much as provincial and municipal.
As someone who leans left and has voted Liberal on multiple occasions making it out like they're the victim is complete and utter bullshit.

Canada is so fucked. I understand the fatigue with Justin Trudeau and the Liberals but if PP wins it truly is cutting off your nose to spite your face.
We deserve whatever comes from the next election. A person is smart. People are dumb.

The VP debate tonight had commercial breaks. Just a friendly reminder for everyone that regardless of the party, it is the almighty dollar that is in charge.

If it's anything like my work and their RTO a few things.
- hR is well aware of attrition rates and I bet they're through the roof
- Any new hires are probably not the best or brightest they could expect to hire
So expect quality at Amazon to decline. It may not be outwardly visible but mark my words for those that are still there it will devolve into a chaotic shit show of overworked employees that are left backfilling work for those who left and the incompetence that came in.

I mean I understand his sentiment but the system is working exactly as defined. When he says stuff like Facebook, Apple, Microsoft used to work it's not for a lack of trying. Their MO has not changed since the 80's. What has changed is the ability to execute on their MO.
The companies are fine. The problem is societal. Hackers ain't gonna fix shit.

Same thing happened a few months later but with roofies.
Gave me an LOL thnx. As someone who's midlife now I love looking back at my parallel and knowing those days are long past. Sounds like you can say the same thing.

I went in with no intentions of it being good and no need for a prequel or rehash of the G1 timeframe I grew up loving dearly and subsequently watching my oldest son fall in love with the same G1 franchise and original 1986 movie gave me so much warmth.
I did not see this movie for me in any way. I'm old and jaded and can wax poetic about the 1986 movie for hours. I have gone on record at times saying it's the best movie ever made.
That said, T One was the movie I never knew I needed.

47 year old dude who saw it Friday night with my 14 year old son. We are both G1 fans and rank the 1986 movie as the best on by far. This new movie is now the second best Transformers movie ever animated or not.
I was extremely hesitant to see it because I didn't know what to expect and I was expecting it to be marketed to kids. I think they fumbled the marketing for the movie. It's a damn good movie.

Good news and it points to the idea that Canada will drop .5 at their next meeting. Inflation in Canada is down to 2%>
I personally agree with some people that a .25 drop would be more prudent but I understand and accept a .5 drop should it happen. It seems like the worst is over now it's a matter of sticking the landing.

pretty sure my son with an android tablet and my daughter with a iPad can both still make phone calls lol. They are literally megaphones.
Should be self-explanatory. They essentially have all the same apps as a phone now.

I'm sure this is a joke but Ubuntu is Debian at the core.
Anyone else notice this? Also if you look out into the water where the DLC supposedly is to be you'll notice everything is "pulled in" and closer than it should be. Caelid tower is way too close. This all fits because you need to invert the tower and there's so much reference to the DLC in the Carian Study Hall
I won't ever not think this.
There's something I just love about big cities that have little pockets where the bones are exposed a bit more.
I'm up to 19km. Going to push it over 20km tomorrow morning I think.
For any android users like myself you may have been using Swish which was made by a reddit user but since the API bullshit the app still works for games but there's no live/post game thread access. I just submitted a request to see if we can get it integrated with Lemmy :) https://www.reddit.com/r/SwishApp/comments/17ig340/lemmy_integration_for_game_threads/?

User accounts are fragmented and just because you signed on at lemmy.world doesn't mean your account exists on lemmy.ca. https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/1985 Communities are fragmented and /c/games on lemmy.world is completely different than the one on lemmy.ml with its own users, set of posts, etc. Lemmy does not currently allow for instance or user migration. https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/3057 Nor does it allow for shared communities (ie the aforementioned /c/games is unified across multiple instances) https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/3100 We are in the early days. If you're eager feel free to join in the development on these any many other core issues. There's real potential here.
