So is the Mossad Headquarters destroyed then? We'd be drowning in Israeli tears if this was true. but

that most Israeli deaths occurred deeper in Israeli territory, while most Hannibal deaths are implied to have been on the border
I was never under the impression that the "mass Hannibal" claim was gunning down hostages as they were carried back to Gaza. The IDF simply leveled wherever Hamas was even if there were still Israeli civilians there.

Yeah but that's 1989. I'm not under the delusion that Israel is going to end in a couple years. I guess more specifically, I'm wondering when did it become normal to be anti-apartheid. In the US that is.

Thank you. When did US opinion about South Africa change, both publicly and politically? I don't believe South Africa was always a pariah to the US but maybe it the US was always conflicted about it?

Put him in comms and have everyone we talk to second guessing what he meant.
I'm not old enough to remember. I known the basics of the armed struggle of the ANC, bantustans, Cuba in Angola, etc. But not enough to compare it to Israel today. My general suspicion is Israel is worse but the US is way more committed to backing Israel than it was apartheid South Africa. I'm mostly want to gauge how the anti-apartheid movement was going then compared to now. Any resources or personal experiences.

The Kurds in Turkey sure do because he's the leader of the PKK. Idk about Iraq. Its a touchy subject to say the Kurds in Syria follow Öcalan, since they swear no affiliation with the PKK.

was of the impression that on the ground they were fairly communist. Lenin was required reading etc. Libertarian Socialism is something Kurdish movements pivoted to when Öcalan and the PKK pivoted from Marxist-Leninism.
From what I gather, its mostly about having a decentralized organizational structure, which makes sense for a movement thats spread across three or more countries. Decentralized movements often lack the capability of coordinated action and seize opportunities but are much harder to kill off compared to centralized orgs.

I can get in reasonable times but I've only been able to see my primary care physician once. I'd have to wait +5 months if I wanted to see him again. But for some reason has have this fiefdom of people under him and I can see them pretty quickly. Its like this guy just hordes patients and leases them out to other doctors.

Diddy was Epstein in blackface the entire time. They just had to kill him again.

Manyremoveds record theirremoveds. Just because he's a billionaireremoved doesn't mean he's CIA. It just means he can do it at scale and without consequence. If you look at all the evidence to why Epstein was suspected of being CIA you'll note that the exact opposite is true for Diddy:
- Epstein was not independently wealthy. His money came from billionaire investors, and ex OSS agents. Diddy owns his own record label and is independently wealthy. Heremoveds people because he is his own boss and no one could tell him no.
- Epstein's clients were wealthier than him and internationally important. Diddy's guests were other celebrities, people below him and not of any real political importance.
- Epstein has numerous known connections to intelligence services. Diddy has none.

Most Lemmy instances and comms are strongly against Israel by now. The average .world account is calling Israel a terrorist nation for the latest attack. The Zionist holdouts are still there but always heavily downvoted. But then there's /c/NonCredibleDefense openly celebrating the attacks. Reposting reddit memes and shit. It looks like the first news of it [didn't go over well](https://lemmy.world/post/19925156?scrollToComments=true) (the average Ukraine supporter isnt pro-genocide either), so the mod "nuke" started forum sliding by posting a bunch of pager memes. Also those memes have a suspiciously high upvote to comment ratio. Anyways, not much of a dredge but its interesting to see conventional social media manipulation tactics at play here.
Did you forget what time it is?

Every time I write the word "the", the word "genocide" gets auto suggested. Its fucking killing me.
Except of course me and the sites I personally use.
Feb 24, 2024. > The Indigenous Embassy in Jerusalem does not represent a specific state or country. Rather, it embodies the voices of indigenous leaders and their people from across the world. > “I want to apologize to the people of Israel for the horrible thing the South African government did. We are sorry.” > Regent Xami Thomas, leader of the _Khoi Kingdom of Southern Africa_, delivered this message to a packed audience at the Friends of Zion Museum (FOZ) in the heart of Jerusalem on the night of February 1. The crowd cheered their approval. Emphasis mine: this is the only Indigenous group present that was named in the article. Other groups are only mentioned by their origin country. > The guest list for the evening included ambassadors, several tribal chiefs, a princess, and a king. One by one, the indigenous leaders – all committed Christians who love and support Israel – took to the stage, bringing messages of hope, love, and encouragement to the Jewish people. Amen.
I'm not a weatherman but if anything sparks a BLM protest this year it'll be a hot one.
I watched most of the South African case. You only need to watch the 10min-30min window where they just quote all their Israeli leaders making explicit calls for genocide. Is there a point in the Israeli case where they address this? I'd rather not listen to the entire 2.5 hours to confirm it doesnt exist. Edit: using this upload for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxGJfdBi3SM South Africa's case as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2vQ7suQWGg
Has the US actually achieved oil independence or is MBS and the Emirates spineless cowards? What's up with that.
